"It’s our go to hotel when visiting family and working in the area. Have held dinners, functions, exhibitions and stayed at the hotel many times over many years and always our first choice. I’m always surprised to be greeted personally as well . it’s a very nice touch and very welcomed. Great affordable stay as always."

"The good, friendly, clean, great location, nice room, 2pm checkout. Overall a great place to stay. Minor issues - Keycard couldn't be issued initially. Had keys by later in evening. Smaller bed then requested."

"Good basic hotel near all the action and very close to one of the train stations (Harbour Port). Noisy during the day because hotel is beside a public square with crowds and live and recorded music. This didn't bother us. Entrance is in a strange place which was hard to find as we walked from the train station. Great shopping next door, lots of restaurants and tourist activities. No gym."

"Great place to stay, central and easy to walj to local amenities and the ferry dock. The breakfast service was great with greay staff. Late dinner choices were very limited for if you are vegan.However there are pleanty of local resturants with these choices."

"We had a lovely stay, arrived early but room was ready so able to check in. Used the Spa for a few hours, was very clean and well maintained. Hotel is in an ideal location for walking into town and car parking ample, though you do have to pay £10 for 24 hours. Breakfast good, continually replenishing as very busy. Staff very friendly and helpful."
