"Nice clean and modern. Bit of a con and very expensive stay! £160 for the room (which showed breakfast included) and then £37 for 2 breakfasts. This was more expensive than a 3 star hotel we stayed at with excellent rooms, service etc. and full English breakfast included (170 per night 43m2 bedroom and great views) Food was good with good portions."

"What a lovely hotel, Clean hotel, Staff very friendly and helpful Breakfast was very good. Other meals expensive but good. Always seen people in and out. I requested a ground floor room with a walk in shower. I had what I requested and what a lovely room. Town just down the road. Just a small walk away Free bus by the bus station to the racecourse Had a lovely day there. All in all what a great and enjoyable stay at Ripon, Thank you team "

"The cottage was lovely, clean and well equipped and the photos don’t do it justice. The hosts Katherine and Patrick were super friendly and helpful. Everything was thought of from recommendations for walks etc to little touches such as flowers and treats and milk etc when we arrived. We would definitely stay again if in the area. Highly recommended."

"We loved our time in Ripon, it was a lovely place with quite a few options for pubs, restaurants and places to explore, all within walking distance. The cottage itself was beautiful, well equipped and spotlessly clean, and Katharine made us, and our dog, feel very welcome. We can't recommend the Hayloft enough, if we are back in Ripon, we will definitely book it again, 5 stars! :-)"
