"We absolutely loved our stay at Guatemala Dreams. Our hosts Jonty and Kimberly are exceptional. They went above and beyond meeting our needs. Even giving us a zuccini when the market we walked to was closed and we still wanted to cook on the deck. "Great place to stay with friendly hosts. We did experience some loud music at night but that could have been because it was Semana Santa; there was a festival going on one block down. Location is directly at one of the main streets. Breakfast was okay but only between 7:30 and 8:30. WiFi didn’t work in the room and signal outside was poor."

"The hotel staff could barely speak English, and the room cooling system was only a very small fan. The pool was extremely dirty and contaminated, and it was completely unusable. The hotel breakfast was acceptable, but unfortunately the staff were not properly trained at all. Most of the bed sheets had dirty stains on them, and the bathroom ceiling was full of ants."
