"No hot water and when we arrived (it had clearly been an issue as we heard other guests talk about it) no one mentioned it. Someone from our party went to ask reception and they were very dismissive. The next day still no hot water, I understand they couldn’t have fixed it there and then but they could if been proactive is telling us and offering to try and fix it."

"Noisy with kids racing around and getting in the lifts and going g up snd down constantly, also noisy late at night !!!!"

"Always a lovely place to stay. Food is wonderful and beds are really comfortable. The rooms are well appointed, it’s quiet and wonderful views."

"Clean and lovely. Hotel is a historic charm. Do not expect corporate hotel, this is VERY old but delightful. There is no sound proofing, no even floors etc. If you are dull and complain about minor traffic noise etc, do not even bother staying here. This is a place for people who love history and appreciate the engineering of yesteryear. Staff were helpful. "
