"Easy tram journey from train station to hotel. I arrived in 34 degree heatwave, so was very grateful that reception staff booked me in 30 minutes before the normal 3pm Comfortable bed and good size room. Hotel and furnishings starting to show their age a bit, but very clean room and public areas."

The price to park was a bit steep, though we appreciated that the large garage was available next door. The only real negative was the elevators; for a relatively large hotel, they had a small capacity and took forever, which wasn't great for a family with a kid in a stroller."

"The hotel was easy to find, parking was safe and simple. Check in was fast, the front desk person was friendly. Highly recommend! My reservation was for two but the bathroom was only set with towels for one and the blanket on the bed was fit for a toddler or small person. We did not get this fixed because we checked in late."

"I stayed at Novotel for 3 weeks whilst I was working in Karlsruhe. It's very well located near the theatre, the shopping mall and easy to walk into the town. The hotel is very clean and staff very helpful. It's a corporate style hotel, so very clean and functional. I don't think this would be relevant if one is there for a short stay, but for the longer 3 week stay it became difficult as the housekeeping time window is any time up to 3pm, so trying to plan my day around being out of the room for...
