"Good breakfast. Great location with ability to easily walk to restaurants and shops. The only complaint ( which only bothered us early in the morning) was the train horn is very loud in the hotel rooms. "

"The views were better than outstanding! The wrap around porch provided plenty of room for all six of us including two toddlers. The playground was fenced and very safe. Blue Ridge was very close and the train ride was fun! Def would recommend! My husband and sil’s fav was the cabin!"

"The Black Dog House was just perfect, nicely decorated, quiet and uncluttered. The sunrise from the back porch every morning was nice to view. The fenced in yard was great for our dog and maintenance took care of some poison ivy immediately. It was good to have the sleeping areas separated in the three levels. I wish we have more time to use the pool table, hot tub and the outdoor fire place (burn ban in place). The drive to the cabin was all right once I got used to the drive. If I get the chance I would definitely stay again."

"We had a wonderful stay at this cabin for the week. It was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. The fireplace was especially nice on the cooler mornings. Made the space feel even more inviting.One of our favorite touches was having a coffee pot in the downstairs bedroom area. It was so convenient not having to go upstairs first thing in the morning. We could stay warm in bed and enjoy our coffee, which made for such a relaxing start to the day.The bed in the downstairs bedroom was extremely comfortable, and we slept great all week. Overall, it was a peaceful and enjoyable stay, and we would definitely come back."

"The cabin was excellent for my need for space for my entire family utilizing all 5 bedrooms and six beds. Very nice covered porch with a layered, long range view. The road to the cabin was well maintained. It was a 15 minute drive to downtown Blue Ridge, which was nice."
