"Lovely hotel on the sea front. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Shops, restaurants, steam railway all within walking distance. The breakfast was excellent. The complimentary soft drinks and snacks were a nice touch. Room was adequate for a 1 night stay, lovely bathroom & comfortable bed. Would return again and recommend to others"

"Large family room 50m from the promenade. Had everything you could need including large bathroom, tv, tea and coffee. Lots of local and tourist info and leaflets available. Staff were very helpful. We were not in the main building so had a short walk up the road for breakfast which was a good choice of full English or continental. We did eat at the restaurant otherwise.
