1 Bedroom Retro Riverside Home with view !

Charming, retro, perfectly preserved time capsule house located on High Bank Skykomish river. This 1 bedroom waterfront home features Mountain views and access to the water for seasonal fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming or just lounging. Watch the eagles and the fish jump through a provided telescope and binoculars, or just while lounging in front of large picture windows. Though the vintage ambience is preserved, the couch, bedding and carpets are brand new.

The space
The Master bedroom is a large room with an EnSuite bathroom, with a shower tub combo. It is a comfy, pillow top queen bed, with a thin down mattress pad, with an additional cover over that, to provide stabilization to the down. high thread count cotton sheets, with a fleece blanket tucked between a top sheet, and a quilt, to provide the weight without the overheating.

Guest access
The entire house is yours. You will have access to the 2 bathrooms, one with a stand alone shower, sink and toilet and the other with a shower/tub combo, 2 sinks and a toilet. You will have a full dresser, with exception the the bottom drawer which contains extra sheets. There is a living room, 2 dining tables and a breakfast bar between the full kitchen and living area. A large screen tv, board games, binoculars and more.

Other things to note
Enjoy the fire pit on the lower bank, but please be safe. We will try to always have a fishing rod, available and ready for use. We have sunglasses available to use in case you have forgotten, to really enjoy the view. They are free to borrow and they are sanitized and sealed after every use. Our rule of thumb is if we left it in the house, cupboards or fridge, it was intentionally left for our guests to enjoy. Other than that, the house is your!

Sit for a minute in Genes favorite chair, listen to the river, and you'll see why he called this place home. We couldn't have had a better visit! The fall setting was amazing. I can only imagine how awesome summer is!!!

Great vacation rental with everything you need! It sits right on the river and it is such a beautiful spot to relax. They had everything you needed even down to dog stuff! I will say the stairs are quite steep leading to the river and the river looked to be pretty powerful so definitely keep an eye on your kiddos and pups. I did see a long lead that you can connect your pups too so that is helpful. 10/10 would recommend!

Very cozy and clean. Like a time capsule from the 70s-80s in all the right ways, but with all the modern conveniences. The outdoor area was very nice and well manicured with comfy seating options and river access (the river was too swift to enjoy in any way but visually, but that's what happens when you visit during a rain storm ) I loved that there was some fishing rods made available too. I loved the history of the man that owned it and the current owners desire to keep it a welcoming place of warmth and laughter for friends and guests. It was well stocked with clean linens, coffee supplies (and candy!) and any utensils/dishes you might need. I would 100% stay here again if my travels take me to the Monroe area.
