Cottage #3 - Quaint, clean, comfortable cottage just 20 miles from Key West. Located on the oceanfront. Cottage offers a full kitchen, screened patio, a single bedroom with a queen bed. This cottage is only steps away from our pool. The dock and seawall are all available to our guests. A coin laundry is also available on site. Whether you come to the Florida Keys to escape the winters, or enjoy the calm waters and great fishing and diving of the summers, you will find Cudjoe Cottages to be your Home Away From Home.

We can get away on the water

Fantastic location! This cottage has all the necessities and is 100 ft from a doc and waterfront. Great communication for management. Highly recommend.

While the appliances are a bit aged, the cottage was clean, the AC worked, the bed was cozy, and the location was convenient.

Great Spot

Great spot to snag if you’re looking to be secluded away from the hustle and bustle of downtown key west but close enough to visit for the day. Perfect for the price and felt like a good deal. We enjoyed the pool and with our stay we seemed to be the only ones there. Has a grill, washer and dryer (quarters required), and a nice little dock to enjoy. The house included bug spray however bring some because you will need it. The gnats a mosquitoes will eat you alive in the evening.

Cudjoe Key stay in May 2024

It was hard to find it first but once we did we really enjoyed the location. However, there was an awful lot of dog hair and I’m just not a fan of dog hair. It was all over the bedroom floor, in the bedroom closet, in the bathroom; on the plunger and under the couch. Other than that it was very nice the pool was nice we really did enjoy our stay and if I came back, I would stay there again. 😉

Getaway

My husband and I had a lovely time in this little keys apartment. It was perfect for a short weekend getaway. Jennifer was extremely responsive. When we first got there the air conditioning was not working, but she had someone come out within 20 minutes! We greatly appreciated it. The doc is a short walk, and we were able to doc our boat there for the weekend. There were also a few restaurants and a convenience store within walking distance, which was awesome for us as we decided not to rent a car. We’d definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great birthday weekend!

Cute place for a great price

This was an older duplex with the real feel of a Keys resident . Lots of grassy areas for my elderly dog to lay down and relax And a dock to sit at in the mornings and evenings. The furniture was cute inside . The screened porch was a plus. The kitchen area took me back to the 90s but was clean and had everything I needed . There’s not allot of cookware but Enough to do some lite cooking . I didn’t see a coffee pot but I don’t drink coffee so it wasn’t a problem . If I did, it would have encouraged me to get up and get going allot quicker . If you are wanting a brand new corporate vacation rental then this probably wouldn’t work . But if you like a little place in a good location with a real keys feel and at a reasonable price, then you should enjoy your stay here.

Cute cottage in the Keys

Easy check in. Our host was quick to answer emails prior to check in. The cottage was great for my husband and myself. Quiet and cozy. The location was perfect for us due to spending more time in Key West. We enjoyed our vacation and will definitely try to book with thos host again next year.

Very quiet. The pool was shared with several other houses and people used it but it was never crowded. We used it pretty much whenever we wanted. At most we had to wait 10 to 15 minutes for it to be empty. The laundry is just one wash and one dry. It worked ok for us but we had to check and wait to use it both times we tried. Kitchen was sufficient for a week but the appliances were cheap and not great. The area is very quiet, much better than key west. Highway 1 gets busy for about an hour at 10am (people head to the beach) but otherwise its ok. Pulling out of the driveway at that time was tough so plan accordingly. My wife called the place "dingy but good". Its old and could needs some repairs. Tiles are cracked, sprayer on sink was broken etc but it was clean and the owner was responsive. It's the type of place I seek out, cheap, clean and away from the crowds.

Pleasant experience

Overall it I was good. Feel it needs some TLC. Window and door blinds need updating. Loved sitting on the screen porch which also might need some updating. Very peaceful.
