House B - This lovely 3 bedroom 2 full bath home is located on the Atlantic Ocean. There is always a gentle breeze on the deck facing the ocean with a sunrise view. Comfortably sleeping six guest with dockage available.This property has a sunrise view, grassy yard for grilling. The kids and pets can swim and play all day. Boating, fishing and ocean snorkeling from the property. There also is a pool. All linens and dishes are provided along with washer and dryer.

Host was kind and responsive but the listing was not accurate and the house was not sufficiently cleaned. Living room was missing seating that was posted online. Overall extremely dusty, lots of dead bugs. Location is excellent, just a dated and disappointing house.

The whole place felt dirty. It could be a cute place with some freshening up. Furniture is old and worn. We wanted to make a frozen pizza - one disgusting old pan - no pot holders - only two ratty old kitchen towels. One hanger for 4 people. Patio door did not lock. Big gap under front door for the ants to come through. We left some donuts in a box overnight - Next morning covered in small bugs. Would not stay there again.

was a great stay however i think the photos should be updated especially for the dock / boating areas, they are much more run down than the photos show. there were some ants but thats to be expected in an area like this. the tenants before us left dirty dishes in the dish washer. other than that it was great.

Welcome to the tropics

Great places in these cottages with a sweet view and a cool pool. Right off Oversees Hwy, so you may easily hit the road to multiple destinations throughout the Keys. I totally dig it here.

Adult Get Away

The property grounds were unkept. There was broken glass, construction items (shingles, metal sheets, etc), and broken equipment and furniture through out the property. House B had no seating outside except a table and 2 mix matched chairs, no seating near the water that wasnt dirty or trashed with broken lounge chairs. Bugs (Ants and Roaches) in the house. AC couldn't go below 75 so we sweated all night. Do not recommend.

Great location

A true beach house, great views, just the basics. Some bugs, no streaming on tv, no corkscrew or dishwasher soap so we were scrambling to meet checkout requirements the night before. Visit from maintenance was not coordinated prior to them showing up and owner gave us some back for the inconvenience

Nice property that needs updating

The Good The bad and The ugly. The good is it's extremely pet friendly my dog loved it. It's a great location right on the Atlantic side. We had a good time paddle boarding and fishing. It's nice being close to key West. The bad: it has a nice deep channel for docking your boat but it is extremely shallow getting in there and there is no channel. The Host could not tell me how to navigate my boat into the dock and we ran aground. At low tide there was approximately 12 in. Be very careful coming in and do not bring a large boat. The ugly: the house was dirty in every corner. Lots of rust and mold in the vents. The shower had low pressure and did not work well. Refrigerator did not cool down very fast we lost some food. Overall the property was great but there wasn't a whole lot of explanation of what pools to use we could have damaged our boat heavily there was no Mark channels or any real instructions on how to get your boat to the dock. And the house could be great if it was simply updated. It's a budget stay and keep that in mind

Short family get-away

My sister and friend from north Alabama and my youngest daughter and I decided on a last minute mini vacation. We found this little gem of a place while looking for places to stay in the Keys. Although it could use some TLC, we found the property to be clean, well-stocked and perfect for a short stay, some family time, rest and relaxation. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying here again,

Fishing trip

We stayed at the property January 5-9 for a friends fishing trip. The property was good, was clean and well equipped. It met our needs. There was plenty of hot water for 4 people. The neighborhood was very quiet and had a great view of the water.

The property is located on the Atlantic just 8 miles straight out to the lighthouse at American Shoal, so that's a great start. The property itself could be better maintained, but we felt it was priced appropriately. We would definitely stay again

Gute Lage, aber schmutzig

Lage war gut, direkt am Meer. Kajak war allerdings nicht auffindbar. Bei Ankunft, waren bereits andere Gäste in der Unterkunft. Vielleicht wäre Zugang mit Code sinnvoll. Überall lagen Haare, die Handtücher waren schmutzig und die Toilette nicht sauber. Wir haben die Gastgeberin direkt nach Ankunft kontaktiert, allerdings erst am nächsten Morgen eine Antwort ohne Entschuldigung erhalten, uns wurde lediglich angeboten, dass eine Reinigungskraft kommt. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt hatten wir bereits selber alles gereinigt. An ein entgegenkommen der Gastgeberin war nicht zu denken. Die Unterkunft können wir daher nicht weiterempfehlen.

Needs work and updating

Everything was below standard. Dirty Dishes, pots and pan sitting in the cupboard to use. Pans were very old. Oven was dirty. No pot holders. Floor boards were dirty. Finish missing on towel bar, bathroom cabinet. Master bath sink faucet sprays everywhere, needs replacing. Lamp shades had huge water stains and some did not work. Air conditioning was terrible, ran constantly and was only 80 outside. Filter looked like it had not been changed in six months. Could not open windows cause one cracked and screens missing or broken. The outside needed cleaning up too. Other people said could not get boat on launches. Did not enjoy this place and especially for how much it cost.
