"What a beautiful and peaceful retreat in the trees! The Hobbit House is surrounded by towering pines, offering a quiet unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Through the trees, the ocean views are absolutely stunning — especially at sunrise and sunset. It’s just a short walk down to the water, where we were greeted by a family of deer and watched golden squirrels scurrying about. The sense of calm and connection with nature here is something truly special.The restaurants in Eastsound were also incredible — every meal felt like a treat! Overall, this was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I can’t recommend the Hobbit House highly enough for anyone looking for tranquility, beauty, and a little touch of magic . "

"Beautiful views, great property conveniently located to Moran Park and Eastsound village. We enjoyed walking down to the beach. There is beach access at the end of the road. We made several meals. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. There is a chunky friendly buck that hangs out near an apple tree. We brought him apples from in town. Loved the house!!! Had a great time on Orcas. Lots of great hiking. "

"Kitchen was adequate- we ate out mostly and did not cook in the house. The coffee maker is updated compared to what we saw in the photos- we would have brought K-cups! The house was pet-friendly, but there is no grass. We had to walk up the driveway bit to find "grass" for our finicky dogs. The view is STUNNING and location was perfect for getting around the island. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. "
