"I rented this place for my daughter a& her husband from Michigan. Power went out while they visited us. We were not informed of the outage before they went back for the night. We had to find a way to get lights and a fan going so the could sleep. They offered a roping a house. It was unclean from previous occupants. I feel we should have been reimbursed for that night."

"My best friend & I brought our nine year old grandsons here. As stated above, everything was fantastic, from meeting Dona' s Mom, "Mrs. A", upon our arrival to the wonderful animal tour given by Dona, complete with the boys being able to feed some of the animals, to the perfect evening with a fire, and star viewing. Dona & her Mom went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time. We made great memories here and look forward to our next time we can come again!"

"It was an easy check-in / check-out. This property has a beautiful scenery view and is budget-friendly. The room was clean. It also had kitchen utensils, paper towels, dish soap, and some other stuff that I found thoughtful and useful. "Never saw anyone from property to check if everything was ok, only saw a handy man. No trash cans only at reception. No lighting for foot path to pod in dark. Cover missing on extractor fan in shower. Bleach stains on towels. No pillow protectors. No dish washer as listed in description. Asked to check out at 12.00 noon, states on listing check out 1pm. Kitchen area and shower rom nice and clean. Can't believe no one came to see if all was ok."

"Vrbo lists this as a one bedroom one bath. In reality it’s a studio in a small house that’s been poorly converted to a duplex. The walls are thin. You’ll hear almost everything the other tenants are doing. They also share one alarm system so every time the other tenant opens their doors you hear the system chime. "We enjoyed our two week stay! House was clean, bed was super comfy, lots of hot water, a/c - heat worked great! Kitchen supplies were sufficient. Enjoyed seeing deer, wild boar, listening to the wonderful birds while being able to sit near beautiful blue water. What more could we ask for!"

"Amazed with the cleanliness of the apartment and friendliness of the owners. The apartment is a converted barn/horse stalls and they did a great job making it feel like home away from home. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, toaster oven, coffee pot, and even a crock pot! We toured the sanctuary on our 2nd day and Dona’s passion for the animals shined as she told us about each one and her efforts to conserve some of the species she houses. We cannot wait to return."
