"The bar/ restaurant was understaffed. The food was adequate, but burgers were raw. Bar staff not interested in food that couldn’t be eaten neither were Wednesday morning reception staff. The rooms were spacious with a sunny outlook. Bathrooms and linen require immediate updating and cleaning. Room cleaning/servicing between nights was poor. Benches not wiped. Staff are not all friendly. However, the Tuesday morning manager seemed approachable. "

The house was almost perfect for the 14 of us, except for the fact that we had no idea that the master bedroom was a loft, so getting to sleep when others were still up was near impossible. The house offered a great dining area and kitchen which made our shared dinners a wonderful experience. Overall, a lovely week. "

"Our stay was great! We had a room with a view of the golf course, our room was clean and freshly renovated. Had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Staff from reception through to bar staff were all very polite and eager to help when needed. "
