A mix of old and new, rustic exterior with contemporary interior with modern conveniences. 10 min to Coolum beach. The cabin has 1 queen bed and also a quality sofa bed that folds down to another queen bed. Full kitchen/bathroom/Aircon/TV/BBQ/fire pit. Cabin is located on a 50 acre fenced with dog wire so dogs can have free reign of or if you like to even bring your horse, there is a good riding 5 min away. The cabin is by the dam on a 50 acres cattle and goat farm. Views to Mt. Ninderry is beautiful backdrop with spectacular sunsets. The property is close to the beach, river, mountains, shops and restaurants or just relax by the dam with a campfire and gaze at the stars on a beautiful night.

Lovely little cabin, very clean and well presented. Beautiful setting and lots of wildlife. Was perfect for the dogs to enjoy the freedom and security of the fully fenced paddock. Great location, only 10 mins to the Coolum dog beach. Easy process for checking in and owners very prompt and helpful with a slight issue with the water. Thank you for a lovely relaxing few days.

Take me back to the country!

I love staying here. The beautiful scenery and the opportunity for puppies to run free. The hosts are fantastic. The grandchildren loved feeding the goats, cows and sheep.

Perfect spot to unwind and relax. Overlooking the huge dam with lillies and lots of wildlife enjoyed it. The view looking out to Mt Nindery is stunning to.

Great stay in the country

We had a great stay at this property. It was a lovely spot, nice and quiet, lovely outdoor fire pit. Super close to the beach too, just a 10 min drive. Our dog had the best time ever and so did we. Will be back

Great little getaway

Lovely cabin by the dam. I loved that I could bring my dog for the stay. The gate for the paddock that the cabin is in can be shut giving a secure yard for dogs to roam around. Doug and his little border collie, Molly, were very welcoming hosts.

We had a great time our little dog had fun with Molly the dog and Goat the position is rural and next to a big pond with lotsa birds. Not far to any places to see on the Sunshine Coast The host Doug made us welcome and was very helpful

Very quiet and secluded.

The property was good, it was what we expected, the only disappointment was we did not have easy access to internet service. I required internet service 24/7. I had to run it off my phone which was fine when we there but not when we went out. The owner did all he could to help me out. Otherwise all good.

Beautiful Farm Stay

The accodation is spacious for a couple or couple with child or in my case 3 adults and a dog. There is a queen bed, queen sofa bed and you get an entire paddock to yourself with dog wire fence so my dog could roam around freely. There is also a little body of water that you can take a provided tinny and boogy boards on, plus Coolum Beach is only 12 minutes away. The location is also very picturesque. Everything I wanted was provided, plus some extras. I was impressed and would stay here again.

Charming and Unique

A charming and unique property with a stunning outlook of the mountain ranges. The shed was spotlessly clean, decorated very nicely and had all of the amenities to make guests feel at home. The shed faces away from the main house making it feel very private. Cows/calves and Goats/kids grazed the bordering paddocks. Doug and Pauline were lovely in my brief interactions with them. I learnt of the sheds rich history and on my last night was even offered soup which was very thoughtful. The paddock was heaven for my dogs to run and swim. It was peace of mind to know it was all dog proof fencing so that I could concentrate on relaxing. Absolutely wonderful, I’ve already booked it again.

Perfect getaway for couple time + spirited dog

Farm life to beach life just 10 mins apart. Modern self contained cabin on farm with everything you need right down to mosquito coils. Peaceful, quiet & comfortable farm living. Fully fenced with a large dam so your dog can roam free & have a swim. Ours has selective hearing & is an escape artist so we had her on a long telecom lead in case we had to reel her in 😄 The large dam has long reeds & lily pillys in it but Doug the owner gave us access to the paddock next door so our staffy could swim in the smaller dam, lily pilly free. She loves to swim but not the strongest swimmer, so was perfect for her. Best thing too, Coolum beach is only a 10 min drive away & welcomes dogs on leads outside the flagged area. We were told too that at a certain time it is lead free. You would have to check on the time frame with the council. Doug was a perfect host & knowing he lived on the property added to our comfortable stay. He lets you be but he's just a phone call away if you need anything. Farm life to beach life in 10 mins was awesome 👌 We will definitely be back. Night time brings out flying ants ! Yes true, so our advice, keep your windows up in your car & use minimum lighting at night. But hey that's farm life 🙂 We honestly enjoyed our stay & highly recommend. Thank you again Doug for being the perfect host & making our stay wonderful 🙂 Tracey, Wally ,& Maci 🐕

Quick little getaway!

This place was perfect for a quick little get away to the sunshine coast. Everything was as described.It quite literally was a 'cabin in the dam paddock' and that added to novelty of this quant accommodation choice. Our kids enjoyed the few farm animals around and would have loved it even more if we had been able to get a small fire going at night. Although we had to tackle a few bugs at night, it didn't detract from the vibe.I would book here again (and recommend to others) if it suited. Thanks for the Stayz
