We love the sun lagoon block and have stayed 3 times now. This particular unit is a little tired now. The carpet feels dirty and the place just a little under the weather. But a good position and the unit size suits us with two kids.
Great views and nice balcony areas with outside seating. Good pool and spa area, also enjoyed the sauna. OK kitchen but the saucepans & fry pans were of poor quality. Great restaurants right across the street. Only a 15 minute walk to the main beach and this meant not having to find a park. Good value compared to the more central accommodation choices.
Very spacious. Modern. Walking distance to fantastic restaurants and convenience stores

Great location for walking to Noosa and Noosaville
We really enjoyed our 2 night stay over the long weekend at Sun Lagoon Resort, it was a lovely location and the apartment was clean and spacious with a great canal view. We found the bed rather hard and a few things needed attention, the kitchen glass cabinet shelf was bowed and the coffee table leg broken when we moved in but the managers dealt with that efficiently and it didn't interrupt our holiday.
Great communication from first contact. Beautiful, spacious and clean rooms. Lovely view (we were in 3 bedroom with water view). Nice little touches that made it feel homely. Competitive pricing and really close to everything.
This property was a massive 3 bedroom apartment, fully equipped with kitchen gear and everything we needed for a comfortable stay including washing machine detergent. Well positioned close to Hastings Street. Shops and restaurants just metres away. The manager was lovely - very accommodating and make our late night check in super easy. We'll definitely stay again.
I resent false advertising which is how I feel about Sun Lagoon. I'd give this place a 2.5?
Our big draw card was FREE INTERNET. They only give you 300mb free which isn't even enough to watch a movie and the TV is small and so old you there is no port for cable. The Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Dryer are ready to be put to pasture. The ancient toilet leaks and has a leak stain in the bowl. There was hair and fluff under hand basin. A panel was falling off in the second bathroom wall. The neighbours can look down into the second bedrooms and shower.
We had a bad experience from several of the neighbours due to noise from A. kids crying and screaming and B. the people above us partying late. Do not expect a sound proof or a quiet apartment.
The lagoon was nice but when you sit outside looking at it you are about 20 meters from a main road and the heavy traffic noise completely negates any positive experience there.
The walk to Hastings Street is a good 15 minutes if you like walking beside a main road. If you wish to drive and enjoy expensive shopping, then good luck getting a car park . The National park walk to Hells Gates is fantastic and for us is the saving grace.
Adult kids did not like their beds but the beds in main room are OK - average, but no where to put your bags and the cupboard smells (Age and dust smell) The bedroom door and ensuite door back onto each other... extremely awkward. Every wall, skirting board etc is chipped.
There is no aircon in bedrooms.
Good place to stay for families. Everything very clean and open. Kids loved it. Furniture was a little dated, but all very clean. 15 minute walk to Hastings Street is just a little too far for young kids.
We had a lovely couple of days stop over at this resort. Excellent accommodation and amenities. Noose is beautiful, very relaxing and picturesque.

Not toddler friendly
There were no lifts - only stairs - and then another 2 sets of internal stairs inside the apartment which was not ideal for a 20 month old toddler who loves to climb. The kids room had a broken & sharp light bulb, the light bulbs had also blown in 2 other places throughout the apartment. The sharps draw in the kitchen was within toddler reach. Toilet door didn't lock and the air conditioning remote control battery was flat. There's also a $75 fee if you don't take your own rubbish out clean all the dishes. The only bin in the place didn't have a lid and there weren't any tissues in sight. The apartment itself was a little 'tired' looking but okay -
but nothing in comparison to our friends apartment nearby which was fully renovated for a very similar price. Safe to say it wasn't a relaxing time with kids, and we won't be back.
Very happy staff on check in. Beautiful apartment being spacious and with comfortable beds. Great facilities. A little more detail should be spent on cleaning. Overall I have no hesitation on recommending this apartment.
Great location, with a couple of great restaurants across the road.
Apart clean & spacious but had some issue with hot water running out after one shower.

Good place and good location
7 days stay very relaxing and close enough to walk to Hastings st and beach without staying right in the business of this.
Manager Kerrie very helpful on suggesting what to see & do and places to shop & eat.
Would stay again.
Just had a 2 night stay at the Sun Lagoon. Had a massive 3 bedroom recently refurbished apartment, very spacious 3 balconies over 3 split levels. Only 15 minutes walk to Hastings Street and the ferry service a 2 minutes walk away. Very impressed and will recommend to anyone wanting to stay here.
While the accommodation staff were excellent, the premises had no lift, making access with babies, luggage, etc, difficult.
There was also an issue when one night a major storm came through, and we had a significant amount of water come through the roof. the staff were very helpful in accommodating us for repairs, and while not expected, compensating us.
