Mermaid Lagoon! Beautiful waterway views, private pool, great family getaway!

Dog friendly with the convenience of a fenced yard, this newly renovated 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home is on a quiet street and only a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and steps to the intracoastal waterway. The inverted floor plan makes the most of the spectacular waterway views AND has a master bedroom with attached bathroom on each floor! We also offer a beautiful in-ground pool (14'x30'). Mermaid Lagoon sleeps 10, including a bunk bed and trundle bed, so you can comfortably accommodate the whole family. A Pack and Play in the downstairs closet. Amenities include: 2 children's scooters a few beach chairs, sand toys, and a beach cart to carry them. Enclosed outdoor shower and propane grill are ready for your use. Have lunch by the pool or relax in the many wonderful spaces on this property. After fishing on the pier and public dock (only steps away) , soak in the view from one of the large porches. Plenty of parking in the driveway and under the house.

Within easy walking distance is the ice cream shop, several restaurants, a fresh seafood market and fishing pier. Walk to the bandstand for weekly entertainment during the summer season.

Fantastic House

The Mermaid Lagoon had everything we needed for our stay. Loved the layout of the house, loved the pool, loved all the beach and pool toys. Had a memorable vacation for our whole family.

Peaceful vacation home.

Mermaid Lagoon was perfect for our family vacation. Love the pool and space for game nights and karaoke. Plenty of porches to soak in the views. Easy walk or bike ride to the beach and restaurants.

WONDERFUL place!

Recently stayed here for a girls weekend!! The place was very clean, short walk to the beach and the owners were very helpful with answering questions!! The pool was an added bonus!! Will definitely look to see if this place is available before booking our next trip!!

Great week

This was our second time staying at Mermaid Lagoon we had a group of 5-6 adults. We find the house very well set up for our activities, beach, pool and paddle boarding. It is close enough to walk to the beach and close to water access to paddle in the intercostal. Everyone had options and the house was clean and well equipped. Look forward to coming back!

This is really a wonderful beach home! The pool was great for relaxing and playing with my family. Very comfortable spacious home for my family of 9. So nice to have a well stocked kitchen and bikes,beach chairs and cart for toting them!

Great house

Holden Beach Vacation

Mermaid Lagoon was the perfect house for our vacation! We loved everything about it. The house has everything you need. The pool was amazing! Close to the beach. Loved rocking in the chairs and watching the intercoastal waterway. We loved our stay! The property manager was great as well! We had a great experience.

Loved it!

We loved this house! Quiet neighborhood and beautiful pool. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the boats go by on the inter coastal. The house was very stocked! We will be back!

Enjoyable vacation

The location was perfect...it's a short walk to the beach even though we drove to take all our beach stuff, small dock across the street to fish from, walking distance to restaurants, coffee shop and Sunset Slush. The house had everything we needed; we especially enjoyed having the pool and sitting out on the front porch on the rocking chairs in the evening! The owner always responded promptly to all my questions and was very helpful. I definitely would recommend staying here!

Get Holden house near the Intercoastal Water Way

We stayed at Mermaid Lagoon with our family of five and my brother-n-law in June of ‘23. This was our 3rd or 4th time at Holden Beach, but our first time staying away from the beach and having a pool. The house was exactly as described and great! We all enjoyed the pool and the walk to the beach was only a few minutes. This house is also close to restaurants/bars and the ice cream shop. Great house and Holden Beach is a great vacation spot!

Wonderful Family Vacation

I would highly recommend this wonderful home in Holden Beach. We parked our car for the week, as Mermaid Lagoon is within walking distance of the beach, ice cream, candy, the park, coffee, restaurants yoga, and more! Ages 18 months-70 enjoyed the pool, spacious living room, well-stocked, kitchen area, the cornhole set, and deck views. The booking process was easy and efficient. Thank you for opening your home to make our vacation one to remember!

Family Vacation - 1st Time Holden Beach

Our family very much enjoyed our stay at the Mermaid Lagoon. Easy walk to the beach, restaurants, coffee and ice cream shops. Easy access to other restaurants and grocery across the bridge made everything simple. We enjoyed the beach and then relaxing in the pool back at the house. Everything we very clean and updated. We used the beach toys, chairs, umbrella, bikes and pool toys every day. Great vacation and house!

Terrific house! Spotless, equipped with everything to make a perfect stay. We didnt think we'd use the pool, but ended up there relaxing the whole time. I especially appeciated the bikes, chairs on cart with wheels for the beach. Thank you!!!
