The River Retreat, Waterfront @ Sussex Inlet

The River Retreat is a perfectly positioned absolute waterfront holiday house complete with its own boat ramp and jetty.

The house is ideal for those interested in a holiday by the water with fishing, swimming and boating right from your backyard. The view from the waterfront is beautiful as it overlooks natural bushland on the other side of the river providing both a great view and privacy unlike many of the other waterfront properties in the area.

Large bifold doors open up onto a spacious north-facing deck providing seamless alfresco living, the perfect place to relax or entertain, whichever takes your fancy!

The boat ramp is suitable for small to medium boats as the access is through the side garage. Larger boats would need to use the public boat ramp which is a 2min drive down the road. Many of our guests choose to moor their boats at the jetty, making early morning fishing trips hassle-free.

The house is located a short stroll from the centre of Sussex, providing easy access to shops, cafes and clubs.

There are 3 bedrooms in the house. Downstairs features a waterfront queen bedroom with sliding doors that open up onto a large deck and the second room has two single beds. Upstairs there is a large, newly renovated 'parents retreat' bedroom with a new queen bed and new ensuite and beautiful views down the river.

Being animal lovers we understand that leaving your pet behind when you go on holidays can be heartbreaking and worry-some which is why the River Retreat is a pet-friendly property, allowing one dog only, strictly no cats allowed. We don't allow pets upstairs as it has carpet. If you would like to bring your pet please send us an email inquiry to see if we can accommodate your needs.

Linen

The advertised price is a discounted price for guests who are happy to bring their own sheet sets and towels. If you would prefer to hire linen and have your beds made up this can be arrange for $25 per bed (including bath towels). Please note that this property is fully self-contained, however it is not a serviced property. Servicing can be arranged during your stay at an extra charge.
