"The hotel had no heating due to a maintenance issue. Guests were not told of this and not offered extra blankets, nor portable heaters. The room temperature plummeted to 5 degrees Celcius overnight, it was so cold, it was hard to sleep!"

"Rooms are so ridiculously outdated. Broken furniture and marks everywhere. Staff not interested and barely acknowledged us it was almost like we were not good enough to stay there. Didn't ask if we wanted dinner or breakfast or even if our stay was ok on checkout. Unfriendly staff at the bar. Main areas seemed fine did not use any facilities decided against giving them any further money after the way we were treated. Beautiful from the exterior but that's about it!"

"I used the hotel for an overnight trip for Cheltenham races. It was good for a one night stay, a pool, comfortable. Evening meal on site and a good breakfast with helpful staff."

Another problem is that they always close their entrace gate, and when you ring the door, you have wait for minutes for the door to be opened despite they see you outside."
