Dissappointing & Gross

Be warned! The review summary is misleading and outdated. Few reviews on this site in recent years, but check out Naver reviews (Korea's Google). The hotel seems to have gone downhill! We arrived at 4 pm to check in and they said our room was still being cleaned. Check in is 3 pm.We had plans, so didnt make it back until after 10 pm to check into our room and there was no info provided as the front desk did not speak english. Our bags were still in hallway rather than in secure location. The hotel was an absolute MESS as it is under construction. The elevator was filthy. The 5th floor hallway and steps were covered with construction trash & debris. We booked the room with the balcony and the room smelled overwhelmingly of toxic paint fumes. There was no remote to control the AC unit so we couldnt use that to help circulate the air. The room had not been cleaned well. There were 3 hairs in the sink and the overall unit was not clean. We were only provided one body towel for 2 people. We attempted to get another one from the front desk and there was no staff around to assist us. The tv remote was missing a battery and held together with tape. We were grateful to only have one night booked before checking out. There was no info provided on breakfast so when we made it down at 10 am, the lady said we were too late, even though there was a bunch of food still sitting out. Again, no staff available at the front desk to assist with check out so we just left. We won't be back!

施設自体は古いのかもしれませんが、リフォームしてあり綺麗でした。一階に朝食がビュッフェで準備してあり、特に案内がなかったですがいただきました。大丈夫だったでしょうか？城門外に食べに行く元気がなかったので助かりました。スタッフさんも気さくな感じで好感が持てました。

실내가 너무 건조하고 먼지가 많은듯 공기청정기가 빨간색으로 작동. 바닥이 어두워서 핸펀 라이트로 보니 머리카락등 바닥청소가 제대로안됨 전기스위치를 켜면 환풍기. 히터작동시 소음이 너무심하고. 냉장고소음도 심함. 건조해서 창문을 조금 열어두니 외부 1층 실외기인기 소음이 심함. 화장실 변기바닥둘레 오염 심함. 제대로 휴식 못 취하고 자고나니 두통이 오네요. 리모데링을 몇년전에 한걸로 아는데 외부만 한듯하네요

지하 주차공간의 주자 대수가 적어 밖으로 나와 노상에 주차를 하였으나 저녁 12시반에 자기 자리에 주차했다며 막무가내로 차량이동을 요구한 이웃집 주민으로 잠을 설치고 기분이 나빴지만 주변 경관도 좋고 대체적으로 편안하고 즐거운 여행이었습니다.

Amazing location and good typical hotel room.

This is the perfect place to stay near the Suwon Fortress. It’s close to both the walking path along the wall and all the cafes. The staff was kind and spoke enough English to help us checking in and even helped us at the self-service Emart connected to the lobby. The room itself is what we expected it to be for the price and being a typical Korean hotel. Very happy with our stay!
