We wanted to be centralized between all of our stops, including the Golden Circle, Heimaey Island, and numerous waterfalls, which is why we targeted this location. We also found being close to Selfoss an advantage since it has everything you could need. The pictures of the house and property don't do it justice. "No front desk. You get an email with the access codes (which we never received) and you have to call a number for assistance. The keypad to the main door didn’t work to get us so they gave us the employees code to get in. And our room was right above a bar that was open until 3:00am. The room was really warm even with the heat turned all the way down and we couldn’t open the window because of all of the noise from the bar. "
