Introducing Merlins Cabin, a tranquil and secluded hideaway nestled in the picturesque area of Penclawdd. With the exciting addition of a new private hot tub, this charming cabin is the perfect retreat for families seeking peace and relaxation. Set apart from the other cottages on the site and surrounded by its own paddock where horses used to roam, Merlins Cabin offers a rustic and private experience.

Step outside onto the veranda and be embraced by the serenity of the surroundings. Sip a glass of wine or enjoy a leisurely lunch under the comforting shade of the crab apple tree, while observing the birds nesting and squirrels frolicking about. This secluded cottage provides a haven where modern stressors fade away, replaced by the soothing melodies of birdsong. While there is a shared hot tub available for the four cottages on site, we also offer the exclusive opportunity to reserve the new private hot tub—the perfect way to unwind and enjoy one of the best views of the estuary. Don't forget to bring your bathing suits!

Ideal for up to 4 guests, Merlins Cabin exudes a fresh and spacious ambiance. The master bedroom features a King-size bed and French doors that open onto the secluded patio—perfect for a tranquil breakfast. The second bedroom is equipped with bunk beds, ideal for accommodating children of all ages. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area offers a light and airy space, while a separate bathroom ensures comfort and convenience. Whether you're a young family or a couple seeking privacy, tranquility, and close proximity to nature, this retreat provides the perfect escape.

The cabin's living area is spacious and filled with natural light. Two cosy double sofas are arranged around a large coffee table, creating an inviting atmosphere. The dining table can comfortably seat 4 guests, and there are outdoor dining options as well. With its pet-friendly policy, your furry companions are welcome to join you for a fee of £30 for one or two dogs.

The grounds surrounding the cabin are truly special. A majestic crab apple tree shades the front, providing an ideal spot for lunch or dinner while escaping the sun's rays. Not great.

Hot tube out of use. Shower not working. Only bathroom was an on-suite, which meant going through my friends room every time I needed the bathroom. Had to request the DVD player. Kitchen utensils very greasy. Not a great experience at all.
