"Beautiful Venue, 10 stars "

"Nuwerus was one of the "fortunate" yet "unfortunate" places in Paarl that was "hit" hard with the recent fires. It was so close to the main buildings that I can only descibe it as hair-raising. Yet although you can see the fire damage to the gardens etc the service was once again spot-on and the facilities as clean and well appointed as we are used to. The owners really does care about the customers as well as the property. Well done is all I can say. Already booked my next stay."

"This hotel is located away from the city but not too far. My room was gorgeous & very well maintained. It’s a boutique hotel so it’s almost like you’re staying in someone’s home bcs of the personal attention you receive. Ubers are very inexpensive so you can get to the main areas w/out spending too much money. "

"It’s close to the charming town of Stellenbosch, and has lovely gardens. The rooms upstairs are small and somewhat dark due to the thatch, but they are good value and are in the main house which dates from the 1700’s. There’s no access to indoors common areas in the house though. No pool but great play area for kids! The cafe is darling tho outside so it’s best to come Dec til end March! "

"Couldn't recommended the log cabin enough. We had a wonderful few nights stay and regret not staying longer. The guys that look after you are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. The furry residents simba venus and socks were a great addition too. The breakfast is probably one of the best breakfasts we have had anywhere on our travels. They catered well for vegetarians too. The rooms were great and they had thought of so many small touches. The bed was huge and so comfy and the USB charging...

"Outside does not look appealing to the eye, but the inside is just perfect. Nice, clean place to stay for quick stop over on business trip. Nice and friendly owner and staff."

"Loud illegal tavern right next to the property. Parking is a righteous mess. Place is an unfinished construction site. No real facilities for the pets. The room was neat and clean. The bed comfortable. There were no kitchenette facilities as mentioned. The staff on duty were very friendly and accommodating. Only stayed one night out of the four. Owner does not engage on refund requests. Would not recommend."

"It was raining cats and dogs and walking into reception with the fire burning was quite enjoyable. Reception was a pleasure and seemless. Rooms clean and well appointed. Even with load-shedding the essentials were working and the Grill Room gave excellent meals including breakfast. The only "question" I have is why breakfast only starts at 8. Does result in coming late at the office. "

"Tulbagh is a great base to stay for a few days and Mountain Manor is the best accommodation you could hope for. A short drive from the lovely little town with great restaurants and wine farms. Stunning scenery and hiking trails. "

"It was a lovely stay. We loved the cats, but hadn’t seen them on booking (I’m usually highly allergic, although it matters the cat and the distance from where they usually rest). Everything about the staff and modern rooms and views were perfect!"

"The establishment is very good. The problem is that it is not sound proof and when a guest speaks while in their room they sound like they are in my room. They must change the bedding and check the rooms for cleaning. I will definitely book the place again. "

"The suite was very nice and had all the amenities to make the stay special. The breakfast was soooo bad, basically you could only choose between 5 different a la carte dishes, no toast no fruit….. The white and rose wine of the complementary wine tasting (I love Jordan wines) were served warm. The place is just so commercial. We had amazing long walks in the spectacular vineyards "

"What can I say we had an amazing stay At Atlantic breeze guest house . Thelma and Ronnie & there team could do enough for us . We stayed in wild dog room which was great . Breakfast was cooked fresh whatever we wanted, we satin evening with them for glass of wine . Great restaurants near by . Ubers cheep . We arrived as guests and left as friends. We will be back . Thank you "
