"Clouds Estate was simply breathtakingly beautiful experience. Fabulous, luxury accommodation set within the vineyards of Stellenbosch. Dinner in the evening was excellent and a lovely selection of hot and cold breakfast choices each morning. The pool area was clean and welcoming with stunning views making this a very relaxing few days. Staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful. A fabulous venue to celebrate a special Birthday. We received a recommendation for dinner at Graff estate next door and we were driven and collected by concierge at Clouds by golf buggy. We hope to return soon. Thanks for a wonderful stay, one I shall never forget. A huge thanks to Sharon for being so helpful and informative about the area."

"The Grande Roche is a wonderful place with such kind, happy and thoughtful management and staff. In particular thank you to Marchello, Denai and Veena for making my stay so comfortable - you are wonderful people! The whole vibe is very chilled and friendly. The views out onto the grounds and vineyards are stunning - the landscaping and gardening give a sense of luxury and connection with nature. I really loved the sense of calm. The room was beautful, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of cooked to order choices, and I will miss dining next to the fire in the evenings - the chef was amazing! "Far better than the impression you get from the photos on Expedia. Lovely spacious suite with private pool terrace. Very well appointed. Comfortable firm bed. Great hotel service. Food in the restaurant good not great - service a little confused too. Especially odd was the mismatch between the names of the dishes on the menu and what you actually get. "

"My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at Coopmanhuijs while in Stellenbosch. It was fantastic! The staff was super friendly and acommodating. The restaurant was outstanding. Our reservation included breakfast and we were able to order off of a menu and/or opt for the generous buffet. We also ate dinner at the restuarant and it was beyond delicious. (Springbok carpaccio!) We don't usually relax in common hotel spaces, but everyone was so welcoming that we did spend some time in the lounge by the fire. We met some other guests who were super interesting, and I felt like I learned a lot about South Africa culture as well. Thank you for a lovely stay!"
