"Very pretty inn with spacious rooms. Everything was very comfortable but there was not a lot of service in the building. Couldn’t reach anyone from the room as they left a cell phone number that nobody answered. Our room was on the second floor so they provided someone to help with luggage but nobody to help when checking out. In a very pretty area with cafe Flo across the street in a museum. Highly recommend for lunch. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would have appreciated a coffee maker in the room and either a mini fridge or at least ice on our level. Lots of walking up and down stairs but other than that, the location was close to many restaurants and the Essex dinner train."

"We loved our stay in Chester at this spot! The space was even larger than the pictures made it seem and everything was thoughtful and perfectly appointed. The beds were comfortable, kitchen was clean and large, and the hosts were communicative and helpful. The location couldn't have been better - a momentary walk to all the quaint shops, restaurants, and perches in Chester center (Three Fates was our favorite!). Will definitely recommend this spot to friends in the area."

We picked this hotel because they have a restaurant and a bar for a drink after dinner, it was 8:30 and he was closing the bar he said it was no problem, he made the drink and gave us our bill at the same time did not talk at all and a little rude. I also read they have live music and they did not."

"The home was very nice and clean. The a/c and appliances all worked well, although we were surprised the refrigerator is very dated in relation to the rest of the house. It served our purposes well and we would definitely return here. We did encounter two issues that should be addressed. 1. The property is specifically advertised as including a beach pass. However, when I inquired about the beach pass upon arrival, I was told there was none. 2. The property was advertised as pet friendly and we brought our golden retriever and golden doodle and it was great to have them with us. What was strange was that on the day of check in I received an email asking for a “pet fee” to be charged to me credit card. When I questioned the fee I was told that there was no fee and the property was pet friendly. Perhaps just miscommunication on both issues, but the owner should look into both. Again, we had a great time and the house fit our needs perfectly, so those two issues should not overshadow the overall experience."

"My adult children and I came down from Maine to spend some time with a beloved elderly relative and this property could not have been better. It was very clean, well-appointed, charming, comfortable, close to all the shops and restaurants and had a truly lovely and private yard complete with sweet cottontails and Carolina wrens and catbirds! We hope to be back and recommend this rental highly."
