"The house is clean and comfortable on the inside. Outside ally that ran alongside the house had big bins which had rubbish overflowing and spreading across the path. Comms with owner none existent other then a couple of automated messages once I had paid. Not enough towels within the property for all guests no hot water for washing up asked for assistance from owner message never acknowledged. Overall happy with the property but little details could improve the stay. Cheap stay for 7 people and...

"Great communication from owner before & after stay. property was clean, but tired in places. We were heading to Alton Towers so was a perfectly good place for 1 night at a reasonable price. "

"We loved our stay the Hay Barn. Perfect size and location for our family getaway. Hosts were friendly and helpful. The area is a firm favourite for us, plenty of lovely towns and activities to do . We would definitely rebook in the future."

"Never got to step foot in this property as they cancelled as we were stood outside waiting to check in. Terrible seevic"

"Booked this location as we were going to a festival, the manager of the property never got in touch for getting us into the property we were asked to wait until 4pm on the day we were meant to be checking in. 4pm rolls on no contact and told theyd issue a refund. Still havent recieced one had to find new accomodation for 7 people on the day of the festival. Shocking. Will never be using them again. "

"Needs work. Kitchen is FREEZING. Strip lighting in a house is a no-no for me, but there they were in the kitchen and main bedroom. The opposite of cosy/comfortable. No blinds on the velux windows in main bedroom means bright light pouring in from 5am. We're on holiday!The lighting all-round was sub-par. One tiny lamp in living area so 6 VERY bright spot lights are the only option. It's just not relaxing. These were our main gripes.Beds comfy, linen nice, sofa nice, kitchen well equipped. Loved...

"Clovelly Court is well placed and Nightingale House was well appointed with a great lay-out for 6 adults sharing. We were in the area for a wedding so the location was great and we loved that the property is walking distance from a superb and quirky pub, a fabulous coffee shop, pharmacy, and Sainsbury. A good location, too, for exploring further afield. All the bedrooms are a great size and having 3 bathrooms was a bonus. The owners are fab - great communication and very accommodating offering...
