"Great, modern boutique property located close to many of the things we wanted to see or eat at in Amsterdam. The only issue we had was that water leaks out between the shower door frame and made the floor wet. Seems like maybe a seal is missing. "

"CitizenM is excellent. The rooms are smaller but very well designed. The shower is great. The bed is very comfortable. I wish I had the same at home. The hotel is right next to the old city. Just walk up the stairs across the street to many views, shops and restaurants. We found the iPad to be too complicated, even tho we are both tech savvy. Needs an upgrade. Some things are easier without this “convenience” such as turning on lights manually and using a remote for the TV. We gave up on the iPad and streamed a movie from my phone. Generally a very inviting hotel with great staff and a good breakfast, including espresso or any coffee desired. Nice sitting areas on the ground floor make up for the smaller room. "

"Easy hotel for an overnight stay between legs of a journey. The room was clean and comfortable. We didn’t try the restaurant. The only negative was the inability of an Uber to drive up to the entrance, and our inability to give the driver any directions because of the lack of any hotel personnel at the front desk."
