One of the best in Sydney

One of the best hotels I have stayed at. Large room, marble bathroom, chandeliers, nice little french balcony. Steps away from the Opera House and many restaurants. Stayed for Vivid. Nice open fire at reception area. Nice old style hotel, reminded me of an English 5 star hotel.

The 5 minute walk to the Opera House was the main reason for choosing the Sir Stamford but the view of the Harbour Bridge was very unexpected ! Our stay was most enjoyable and we will definitely staying again .

This was a shockingly terrible hotel. Do not stay here. It is so dirty, warn with the paint peeling off the walls, the carpets stained everywhere and bad smells throughout. I can not believe this is a 5 star hotel. Moreover the service is poor; no one to help with bags. It is a scary hotel, almost feels like a hotel from a horror movie or something.
