A uniquely fun hotel experience. My wife treasured waking every morning with Waddles, a koala bear, just outside our window. The view of Sydney lights from the lobby was beautiful. And I enjoyed the kookaburras singing before sundown.

Our stay at the Wilderness Lodge was comfortable, Sanctuary view from our room was good. Staff were friendly and helpful 🙂 to us Zoo food is rather pricey, including the Me-Gal Restaurant , we wouldn't rate it fine dining, no dress code either, with guests wearing hats at night? It's certainly a one off experience, but don't think we'd do it again.

Beautiful and idyllic location with views of Sydney. The room was lovely and clean. MY 8 and 10yo granddaughters experienced their first Room service. Breakfast was good. I did think the dinner menu was limited and the pizza was a little disappointing. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

This hotel was a once-in-a-lifetime incredible experience. I can’t recommend it enough. We woke up every day to a koala in front of our window, private tours, private entrance to the zoo, amazing restaurant… a must stay!

The Wildlife Retreat is stunning from the moment you walk in to the foyer. Not only is the foyer beautiful, but the view to Sydney Harbour is stunning. Our Wildlife View room was very spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The staff in all areas of the retreat were great.

Our room was clean and easy to get to the lobby and breakfast. It was awesome to have our very own Koala to look at for our entire 4 day stay. Best hotel/resort in Sydney and the staff were very polite, friendly, and knowledgeable about all of the animals and helped us with taxis. Very safe upscale neighborhood. Best views of the Opera House and Harbor Bridge. Would recommend it for all ages. Very nice to have our own private access to the zoo to come and go as we pleased. No smell of the animals at all. Best of Sydney!!!
