A lovely place to stay

Alessandro and family are charming and caring and provided a lovely location to stay whilst exploring the South / East of the island. The apartment is large enough for a family of 4, clean and comfortable. The facilities were excellent and the provision of a home cooked lasagne by the owners on our arrival was a nice (and delicious) suprise. The gardens are beautiful and the pool (although slightly smaller than we expected) was refreshing. We enjoyed the occasional company of the owners pets but were not bothered by them (owners & pets) in any manner. Allesandro and family provided some useful advice and were warm and welcoming hosts. Thankyou so much for making our 2 weeks stay so enjoyable.

Magnifique séjour!

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans une villa très agréable avec vue sur mer et proche de la mer. Nous étions 6 personnes(2 adultes et 4 enfants) et la taille de la villa était parfaitement adaptée: grand séjour et grande terrasse. Valentina et Alessandro sont très sympathiques et leurs petites filles adorables! Il y a de très beaux sites à visiter: Ortigia, Catane, Ragusa, Noto...et bien sûr l'Etna! Bref, n'ayez aucune hésitation quant à votre prochaine destination de vacances!

Perfect Holidays

We had a very pleasant stay for 16 days in Alessandro's House. We were 2 Adults and 2 Children's 6 and 13 years old. About the house we can only mention positive aspects: 2 sleeping room's, a large living room, a kitchen, a very well furnitured terrace with a huge garden.......an a swimming pool. From Alessandro's location within a range of 30 minutes you can reach very good local restaurants (in Cassibile, in Cavagrande, in Siracusa....), very beautiful beaches and sightseeing,e.g. Cavagrande, Noto, Avola and Siracusa. What we can also strongly recommand is a boat trip with Alessandro's boat and him as the skipper. A very special thank to Alessandro and Valentina for their sympathy and hospitality. We can strongly recommand to book Alessandro's holiday house.

Gemütliche Ferienwohnung in ruhiger Umgebung nah am Meer

Wir haben eine Woche hier verbracht und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist einfach ausgestattet, aber es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Auch war alles sauber. Allerdings gibt es keine 2 Badezimmer wie beschrieben. Die Fotos geben das wieder, wie es war. Sehr schön ist die große Terrasse mit verschiedenen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Man ist hier völlig ungestört. Der Pool ist klein, aber ausreichend für eine Abkühlung. Der Garten ist sehr schön angelegt. Man muss Tiere mögen, da die beiden Hunde und auch die 3 Katzen häufig zugegen waren. Die Hunde sind groß, aber völlig problemlos.. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und zurückhaltend. Aber wenn man sie braucht, sind sie sofort zur Stelle. Die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt. Sie liegt in einer ruhigen Straße. Das Auto steht geschützt im Innenhof. Der Vermieter wohnt auch in dem Objekt. 3 Wohneinheiten sind hintereinander gebaut. In der Nähe liegen die wunderschönen Städte z.B. Syrakus, Noto und Ragusa, die gut zu erreichen sind . Das Meer hier direkt vor Ort ist zum Baden nicht einladend. Aber ein paar Kilometer weiter in Ognina haben wir einen kleinen Strand entdeckt, wo man gut schwimmen kann. Der größere Strand in Fontane Bianche ist auch sehr schön.

Lovely villa in a beautiful garden

We had a lovely week in this villa. It is close to the sandy beaches of Fontane Bianche with a rocky beach a few minutes walk from the villa. The house is well equipped with 2 good sized bedrooms and one bathroom - the second shower is outside but when we were there in June it was fine to use. The garden is beautiful and there is a large shady terrace for guests with lots of seating both for relaxing and eating. There is a bbq with a gas hotplate, excellent for cooking meat or fish. The swimming pool is small but perfect for a quick dip after a hot day sightseeing with lovely views towards the sea. The 2 dogs and 2 cats are very well behaved and were no trouble. The villa is well placed to visit Syracusa, Ortygia and the Baroque towns of Noto, Scicli, Modica and Ragusa. The Cavagrande del Cassibile nearby is an amazing experience if you are reasonably fit! Alessandro and his wife were perfect hosts, very helpful and happy to give local information. Their 2 small children are delightful. I would recommend this villa.

Das Appartement ist eine komplette Wohnung mit einer sichtgeschützten Terrasse, Zugang zm Garten und Pool, sowie mit Blick aufs Meer. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Vermieter sind sehr angenehm familiär und garantieren die Privatsphäre.

Lovely house with beautiful garden

The house and the garden are even more beautiful than the pictures show. Our children had the time of their lives in the garden and the pool. The hiuse itself has a good size and is quite light. Alessandro is a very welcoming host. My wife is afraid of dogs, but it was no problem for him to lock them away for most of the day in his veranda. The only thing we missed was a dish washer, but maybe we're just spoilt :-) Alessandro, thank you so much for a lovely week, we'll definately be back!

Casa molto carina ed accogliente a due passi dal mare

Casa pulita ed arredata di tutto, molto bella soprattutto la terrazza ed il giardino!! Alessandro ci ha anche fornito dei lettini per i piccoli. Lui e sua moglie sono stati gentilissimi, ci hanno dato un sacco di consigli ed anche due passaggi in macchina che noi eravamo senza. Da consigliare in assoluto!!!

Great location for sunny holiday and friendly owners!

Previous good reviews say it all really, we booked because of the reviews. The garden is lovely, the sea is very close, the bigger beaches in Fontane Bianche are a very quick drive and there are enough facilites in the village to keep you going. We were out of season and it was not that warm so we were unable to make the most of the terrasse & pool and sea at the end of the road, though did brave the beaches (crystal clear water and white sands). The appartment is spacious and well-equipped even though the furniture and equipment is a little old. The dogs are cool dudes!

Très agréable séjour

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par les propriétaires. Le domaine est très joli: il y a deux magnifiques jardins avec tout l'équipement pour les enfants (balançoire, petit toboggan) et un parcours entre cactus, citronnier et autres plantes. Depuis la piscine il y a une magnifique vue sur la mer. Nous avons voyagé avec un adolescent et un bébé de deux ans. Tout deux ont adoré. La maison est bien située pour découvrir la Sicile baroque et les environs de Syracuse. Belle plage à proximité. Ps: si vous partez en octobre prévoyez un bon anti-moustique car là- as ils sont coriaces !!!

Ferienhaus im Grünen

Wir verbrachten zwei wundervolle Wochen im Ferienhaus von Alessandro, Valentina, Martha und den zwei Hunden. Wir fühlten uns von Anhieb an sehr wohl in dieser grünen Oase mit herrlicher Sicht aufs Meer! Das helle grosse Wohnzimmer bietet genügend Platz, wenn das Wetter nicht zum draussen verweilen einlädt. Die zwei Schlafzimmer bieten alles, was man braucht., das Bad ist ebenfalls sehr geräumig. Besonders schätzten wir die offene Küche mit direktem Blick in den Garten. Die Küchenutensilien sind nicht mehr die Neusten, was uns jedoch nicht störte. Obwohl das Appartement direkt an das Haus des Vermieters angrenzt, wurden wir in unserer Privatsphäre nie gestört. Vacances idéales

La location est conforme à l'annonce. La beauté du site est remarquable. La présence d'une petite piscine est un plus important. La location est parfaitement entretenue et d'une propreté irréprochable. La situation géographique est optimale pour visiter la Sicile Orientale. Les sites de Syracuse (Ortigie), Ragusa, Noto, Aggrigente, Catane (Etna), et Taormina sont accessibles depuis la location et méritent le détour. Cerise sur le gâteau, Valentina et Alessandro sont des hôtes sympathiques, plein d'humour, accessibles tout en conservant une discrétion appréciable. Conclusion : Une location à ne pas rater. *****

Idéal

Nous avons passé une semaine chez Alessandro et Valentina et nous avons adoré chaque minute passée dans cette maison. Tout est conforme à la description et d'une propreté parfaite. On peut passer toute la journée sur la terrasse qui est très grande et ombragée, avec une vue magnifique sur la mer et le jardin luxuriant, mais ce serait dommage de ne pas aller à la mer, à laquelle on accède au bout de 100 m en passant par le portillon au fond du jardin. Ce n'est pas une plage de sable ( pour cela il faut aller à Fontane Bianche) mais une adorable crique dans les rochers avec un accès très facile à l'eau (qui est chaude et surtout cristalline : n'oubliez pas masque et tuba). Pour ceux qui préfèrent l'eau douce il y a une piscine (31° et sun beds tout neufs) et l'excursion à Cavagrande avec cuvettes d'eau douce au fond du canyon. Ne ratez pas les villes baroques (Noto, Raguse et Modica) mais c'est un bon plan d'y aller en partant vers 15 h pour profiter des couleurs du coucher de soleil et des magnifiques éclairages nocturnes. Mais ce qui vous laissera le meilleur souvenir, c'est l'accueil de Valentina et Alessandro qui réussissent le tour de force d'être complètement disponibles en restant d'une incroyable discrétion. Merci encore à Alessandro d' avoir réglé pour nous un problème de voiture qui aurait pu gâcher la fin de nos vacances. Si vous êtes sage, Marta vous racontera probablement ses projets pour "domani" : on ne comprend pas tout (puisque notre italien est très rudimentaire) mais elle est tellement mignonne qu'on lui répond quand même ! Et que je n'oublie pas les 2 magnifiques chiens, très bien éduqués, qui apportent encore un plus à cette location et qui sont très photogéniques. En conclusion, nous adorerions revenir dans cette maison et nous ne pouvons que la recommander vivement.

Verde curatissimo casa molto comoda

Tutto perfetto! Casa stupenda con una bellissima veranda che affaccia su un giardino curatissimo con prato inglese...babecue a disposizione per poter cucinare l'ottimo pesce della zona... il nostro bimbo si è divertito immensamente con la piscinetta sempre a nostra disposizione... Alessandro e famiglia sono sempre stati discreti e disponibilissimi per qualsiasi ns necessità o informazione! In sintesi, ECCELLENTE!

Très recommendable

Annonce conforme à la réalité, tous les requis pour un séjour très agréable avec des propriétaires très gentils, serviables et discrets. Sécurité absolue dans cet espace de nature luxuriante autant pour famille avec enfants que personne plus âgées. Aucune nuisance sonore. Ravitaillement possible à proximité. Proche de sites historiques à voir et accès facile depuis Catane.

"Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Fontane Bianche. L''appartement est très spacieux et dispose de grandes portes vitrées donnant sur un très beau jardin dans lequel il y a une petite piscine, chaises longues, balançoires, hamac,citronniers, bbq et plancha. Très bien situé pour les visites des villes baroques sans oublier la réserve naturelle de Cavagrande et la superbe plage d''Arenella ! Un grand merci à Alessandro et Valentina."

Nous avons passé un excel...

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Fontane Bianche. Nous voyagions à deux couples + un bébé et nous avons trouvé tout le confort nécessaire pour passer un agréable séjour. L'emplacement est idéal pour partir à la découverte de la Sicile baroque et rentrer le soir pour profiter du magnifique jardin. Merci à Alessandro, Valentina et la petite Martha.
