"View was great. Room was dirty, old, run down. Pool area was not nice. Pool was dirty. Elevator was slow. The bathroom was so small the door nearly hit the toilet. The flooring was lifting. Just not a place i would go back to. "

"We love this hotel. Plenty of free parking. People at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a wide variety of foods and the women working there were on top of things constantly. Can't say enough about how hard they work and how friendly they were. The bed, pillows, and room were large. We asked for a room where there would be less noise and they gave us a perfect room. Shower had full pressure and hot water. Plenty of towels on hand. Hotel is clean. Laundry room was clean but it was a bit cramped inside. There were 2 washers/2 dryers, stacked. Only suggestion I would make is to leave a step stool in there for short people to reach the dryers on top. Using a credit card instead of coins was a great move. Hot spa outside was too hot to get into. The pool outside was too cold for us to get into. We loved the pinellas trail you can walk on. You can also rent bikes to ride on the trail for the day. We also loved the downtown area. There are restaurants, ice cream shops and stores on main street. At night it comes to life with restaurants and bands. Nice to walk at night on main street. Close to Tampa where we went to the racetrack. Clearwater is also nearby. There is a walmart up the road if you need essentials. Will definitely come back to stay at this hotel. I would recommend this hotel. "

"Very clean, almost sterile with the decor. Staff unhelpful, ac so loud and didn’t cool room off. Blinds don’t block light from coming in so prepare to wake up at 6am. Zero amenities, not a lot of sun around pool until 4pm. Gym so hot- no ac. Not worth the price of the stay($400 usd/night). "

"The staff at the hotel are top notch. We had particularly helpful conversations with wait staff and the front desk. They hire well! The hotel is also a 10 minute walk to great restaurants downtown and five minutes to the baseball stadium."
