Our stay was beyond amazing I celebrated my birthday at Ayung Resort the resort is a gem hidden 15 mins of central UBUD peaceful beautiful resort the resort is 5star hospitality we where only going to stay for 4nights and ended up for 8 nights! The free breakfast is great over looking the jungle the view is magical ! If you want to experience UBUD Ayung resort is a must ! Thank you to all the staff from Damian and Sonia

If you're going to stay in this area of Bali, this is the place to stay. To be honest, I don't know if it is truly a "5 star" resort as it doesn't come close to the Ritz Carlton-level, but it is a really nice place. The resort is family friendly with all kinds of activities for the kids. Plus, centrally located to good bars / restaurants I think my only real issue was the size / quality of the room for the price point. I've stayed in way larger / nicer rooms for $200 a night. Property had a great Balinese vibe. Beautifully constructed villas. Clean. Right on the beach. But, most villas do not have clear unobstructed ocean views - descriptions are bit mis-leading. Nevertheless, the private pool in the villas, the rooms, outdoor showers, privacy, service etc., all make up for it. Very friendly staff. Great service. Just remember, the resort in bit further off from everything. Great for relaxing private vacation.

Would recommend garden room at minimum. Extra price not much and worth the minimal price difference. Let’s you have a much nicer experience when in the room itself or taking advantage of the spacious terrace or exposed shower. Otherwise you are facing other buildings or parking lots.

We had an excellent stay at the three-bedroom villa. The house is better in reality. It is very spacious and comfortable, well furnished, and the pool area is really pleasant bordering rice fields. The property manager and staff are very helpful. The only minus is the beach, which is quite unusable due to rubbish. You can walk on the beach but you cannot really sun bath or swim. I would definitely go back.

This place is truly a small piece of paradise, just as it says in the domestic airport arrivals. Note that it was perfect for US - but we may have had specific/differing needs than many. We enjoyed being in a completely remote location with nothing and no one else around. We did see a few locals, and the locals do gather on the beach and ride motorcycles some afternoons, but we enjoyed watching local life pass by and could easily live with the noise. I stand firmly behind my five stars - this hotel definitely earned them on service alone. The staff memorize your name - not just a few, lots of them remember who you are! Constantly trying to help, constantly engaging in friendly conversation. We felt like we were visiting friends! Every person of the staff was outstanding, the food was great, nice activities to do, the only downfall is that the resort contains alot of insects that cannot be controled because of the place's nature

Bali with its congestion and litter isn't really all a paradise. The moment you walk into the Trans hotel that changes. This hotel really seems to "get" the customer service/satisfaction piece. Every (and I mean every) person that we encountered over our stay was gracious, helpful and genuinely happy. We had a lovely stay at the Vira Hotel. It was in a convenient location with lovely staff and service.

It was a fantastic stay. We loved the rooms, which were jungle cabins, because they were in the middle of the jungle. The sound of the waves crashing into the cliffs was amazing, and the birds were singing. It was a wonderful setting next to the beach.

I give the Anvaya 5 stars! I was in Singapore for work and decided to treat myself and check out Bali for a few days. It was too quick of a trip, but I wanted to do a little traveling.
