An ideal place for a couple or family looking to get away and enjoy a truly relaxing and quiet time together. It is situated in the beautiful countryside. Rooms are stunning and the gardens add a feeling of serenity that greatly enhances the experience. The climate in this area was nicely balanced being there at the end of June. It was neither too cool nor too warm at any time of day. It’s a bit far from the city center, about 40-45 minutes away from Denpasar and the areas with shopping stores, malls and restaurants. It was perfect for my partner and I but might be something to consider if you want to do nightlife. It is however worth it to stay here and the staff are second to none in service and attentiveness.

Accommodation was excellent walkable path to Ubud centre

Good: 1. Property met the online description. 2. The pool was same depth after steps and a bit too deep for my liking, i.e. no graded bottom. 3. Outdoor bed by the pool is an excellent place to relax privately. 4. Staff were very helpful in providing information and preparing take away breakfast and arranging transport. Needs improvement: 5. AC was a bit noisy, the "tub" in the bathroom had poor hot water, as was the shower. 6. Pool needs to be cleaned and maintained. 7. Some repair work generated noise that disturbed us.

A delightful venue for a stay - friendly, welcoming and accommodating staff. Our room, pool and general facilities were great and we appreciated being able to check out late on our final day to get the best out of a short trip. Some may find the location challenging (very urban) but lovely restaurants are nearby as are the beaches which are eminently walkable (even if taxis etc want you to NOT walk).
