"After a rather pot holed approach road to the site you are greeted by a terraced bungalow complex. On my second night I discovered there is accommodation in the attic with bare floor boards- I had a rather noisy person above me! These should be carpeted as a courtesy to those on the ground floor.The person who checked me in was pleasant but not thorough with information. I met her in the grounds as I was checking out and her dog was growling at me.My room was adequate and nicely carpeted with...

"We liked our room which was spacious and comfortable. Staff were very helpful. There was a little noise on Friday evening, but then you would expect that at a pub. "

"A pleasant boutique style hotel. Staff were very helpful and polite but unfortunately it was clear they had not been properly trained in table service and wine pouring. Apparently they have a temporary manager at present and it is clear they need an experienced and enthusiastic professional to maximise its potential. "

"The new owners have only been there since March 2024 so any previous reviews are for others and not relevant. Customer service was second to none and couldn't have been better. Very accommodating to dietary requirements. Lovely breakfast and evening meal. Lovely atmosphere. Decor is a little tired in places but easily remedied. Shower pressure in my room was very low but others in our group were happy with theirs."

"Room was basic but comfortable. Room had tea/coffee making facilities and small TV. Small wardrobe and sink. My room didn't have a bathroom but two on landing. One with shower and one with bath/shower. Soap and towels provided. Good view with plenty of greenery piece and quiet. Tasty breakfast. Everything was nice and clean. Shared lounge to relax in with stereo and TV. Lots of pubs, cafes and restaurants nearby. Would stay again. "

No shampoo and body wash provided as it's a budget price, but it still represents excellent value. Very comfy bed, fluffy white towels and plenty hot water / good shower pressure. "The property was in pleasant grounds, in an attractive village. There are a number of b and b rooms in the barn which is now an annex to the main house. The room had a high ceiling so was airy and spacious. The ensuite shower room was too. The bed could be a double or two singles so was large size and we found to be comfortable. There was a continental style breakfast to help yourself to in the dining room which also had a tv. I enjoyed watching the planes coming into land at the airport. These...
