  • Welcome to the Orchard House & Cottage- uniquely designed for making memories with your group! Whether you’ve come to celebrate an important milestone or reunion with family or friends, we specialize in hosting memories that last a lifetime.

    What makes this property special is all of the separate gathering spaces, it’s relative privacy, and it’s location (only a few blocks from lively 6th Avenue restaurants and shops and in the Historic North Slope District).

    Our guests love the Chef’s kitchen with its professional 6-burner gas stove. Enjoy shared meals at our large dining table or on the outdoor patio. Want to barbecue? We have gas and charcoal grill options.

    Enjoy the mature garden that shines in the Spring and Summer. You will love sitting by our Koi pond with waterfall (kids love to feed the fish!) and around the fire pit on warm evenings.

    The game room/garage is perfect to spread out in, rain or shine. Enjoy spontaneous ping pong and foosball matches.

    The separate cottage has its own bedroom, 3/4 bath, kitchen, and living room and is perfect for someone that wants more privacy and space.

    Every bedroom of the house is designed to feel like boutique hotel luxury- quality mattresses, 100% cotton linens, and thoughtful decor touches throughout.

Lovely property for our big family travelling to a wedding. Comfortable for everyone to gather especially in outdoor spaces, including ping pong inside garage. Convenient for our purposes and is essentially midway between Seattle and Tacoma with access to both in generally under an hour! Hosts were kind and very responsive.

Great place for Family

We had a family reunion, and really liked the quiet “compound” feel of the place. Outdoor space is nice! There is one large and one small bedroom on the main floor — but home is older and stairs are steep. Attic “loft” would be great for kids but tight fit for adults. Additional privacy in cottage— is a plus. Unit is very well kept — and hosts are responsive.

Ideal for our needs and super nice

We had 12 people coming from three different states to see an orchestra concert where one of us performed and one of us was the composer. The Orchard House was even nicer than represented on the listing, and there were so many thoughtful details in the way things were set up and provisioned. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped. I particularly appreciated that the provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were fragrance free, since I have fragrance allergies. The guidelines were all very clear from the hosts and the location was perfect for our needs.

We had a large family gathering for a memorial service and had two Vrbo homes to house our family. This house was perfect for one part of our family needs. The house is well appointed with kitchen utensils and some extras. Two really nice special touches was a basket of goodies from Tacoma area.and individual packaged toothbrushes and small toothpaste in bathrooms. We didn’t need this trip, but have in the past and nothing there. They checked in by email a few times to be sure everything was ok. Great stay.
