"This was my second stay and I was just was blown away as the first time. The Awashima Hotel is a true gem of a location and establishment. The boat ride from the shore to the island is scenic and pleasant, the island itself features a fun aquarium with shows, a wonderful walking path ideal for a stroll or early-morning birding, and adventurous guests can attempt the steep climb up to the island's shrine. "My only complaint is that I didn't stay there longer. The area and hotel are so calm and peaceful, and the beach views are unbelievable. Definitely recommend for those hoping to get off the beaten path. I'd recommend two nights so you get really get a chance to relax and take advantage of the baths, pool, and beach."

You can ship your suitcase to the airport via the Kuroneko Yamato service inside the station, and the Tully's Coffee on the ground floor is a lovely space—this is also where you can pick up your complimentary breakfast."
