"Check-in was quick however having researched prior to booking I was expecting better service (no welcome drink was offered and nothing explained around how the club lounge operated or how the half board worked (I had to ask about this). Also we had booked the luxury suite for the stay yet no real perks included (ie welcome gift / fruits etc). No turndown service was provided and we had to remind the hotel around the extra book requested. Finally, we had an early tour start the next morning and so had to get an early night. This plan was wishful thinking as our wing of the hotel was hosting a wedding reception that night. The DJ certainly enjoyed his bass settings as we couldn’t sleep until the party ended 1am. Would recommend you do your research on alternatives before you consider your stay at Taj Agra."

"I am an owner of a company in the service industry. There were two staff in particular that made my visit exceptional - Ajay (pool area) and Palwinder (sardarji at front desk). When I first entered the lobby, Palwinder was professional and provided excellent customer service. When I walked through the lobby various times, he always acknowledged and greeted myself and other guests. I highly recommend staying here. There is a view of the taj mahal from the skydeck. In the pool area, you can order drinks, food, etc."

"5 star service from this hotel from the moment we arrived in Agra station. Organised a taxi from the train station, driver Babloo, was a godsend given the chaos outside the station Met by Aman at reception and Ashish who took our bags to our rooms Friendly, efficient and receptive to all our needs Aman organised our guide, Muhammad, who was knowledgeable and a great asset whilst visiting Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Aman’s mother, Rajanna is a fantastic cook and we had the most wonderful vegetarian food with hot chapatis Breakfast with parathas is a must, served by the smiling Saif Rooftop bar with views of Taj Mahal at sunset was the icing on the cake Thanks for the memories "

"The room was decent, problem 1, once you open your window you have trash in the empty lot in front and the roof of what it looks it’s a hallway, that is not in good conditions. Also, there is a glass window between the shower and the bedroom which has a curtain that was full of mold. The walls of the room need some TLC and paint, in addition, a prior guest left a souvenir in the wall next to the lamp, let say a piece of booger in the wall. The drainage of the AC was dripping trough one of the lights. I know this is too long, but I think that problem is maintenance, because otherwise the room was great, nice size, and decent bathroom."

"Service was beyond amazing. Higher than 10/10. Really friendly and helpful staff. Lovely place to stay, accommodated any additional needs such as extra bed in our room. So close to Taj Mahal, so location was great. Would not hesitate to stay here again. WiFi was a bit weak, could not connect the tv to the wifi and signal was intermittent for my phone, but wasnt an issue as we only stayed one night. "
