"Terrible staff service. I stayed there for 4 nights because I just didn’t want to move my belongings but seemed like the more you stay, the more terrible they are. I don’t know do they have bias only for me or not but I felt it is. As I noticed the guest who only stayed 1 night or short time, They are very welcome and doing good service. The staff and owner bent over backwards to make us feel welcome. It was during the world cup, so they put all the games up on a projector. "The staff were very friendly and flexible, especially with luggage storage and can communicate very well in English as well. The hostel is also very clean and has modern toilets. The location is conveniently close to many restaurants and hot spring places, so accessibility is great. Feel free to chat with the staff, they are always happy to make good conversation! "

"This is the cleanest and most modern hostel in Beppu. I have stayed twice this month and will stay again in early April with about five friends. I like the location and cleanliness, but as important is the kitchen and dining room. The room is big enough to easily fit 30 people. This makes is perfect for groups because we have a place to meet and talk besides the dorm bedrooms. It is less than 5 minutes from the train station, a market, a grocery store and many restaurants."

"Very clean and very comfortable. They are very vague about you putting everything back. Does it mean you have to wash all of your dishes and put them back exactly? Communication was lacking. Of the two emails I sent, I never got a response. I left some stuff there and asked if it was found and they decided not to answer me. I ended up leaving it there so I suppose someone else is not enjoying it."
