"Set in the countryside it was beautifully quiet. The room was spacious, the private hot bath delightful and the staff friendly. The morning views of the mountain were breathtaking. "We booked the triple bedroom and the room is huge. Beds were comfortable. There were 3 onsen in the hotel, pretty good but a little old. In fact this hotel feels a little old but overall it is still good, a traditional Japanese ryokan feel. The checking in was a little inefficient as we waited for a while until our turn to be brought to the room. Breakfast was a little chaotic, we were told that the breakfast buffet start at 650am-8am but at 7+am we were still queueing for table. Feel too early and being rushed to start the day. They have shuttle bus from the train station to the hotel, journey just 1-2 mins. Else it is also walkable like 5 mins. "

"The BOSENKAN was a great experience. We really enjoyed the Onsen, even though it was our very first experience. The food was traditional, and there were a lot of new tastes for us which was nice. We were surprised by the large number of non-native workers there were. It did make understanding them difficult, and we felt it was less authentic. But we still enjoyed our stay! We will miss Mizuki-chan!"
