"The room had everything you could possibly need....a white noise machine, ear plugs, makeup wipes etc including kitchen stuff. Beds were very comfortable. The last night the neighbors above were a little loud but nothing horrible with the white noise machine. Good location with a beer garden nearby."

"severe issues with my stay Gallery Bethesda 2 for the dates of August 7-9. After driving 14 hours from Wisconsin to drop my daughter off at Howard University, my family and I arrived exhausted and looking forward to relaxing. Instead, we have encountered a series of unacceptable problems. First, the garage key was missing from my check-in envelope. While customer service offered a reimbursement for alternative parking, I should not have to pay out-of-pocket for an amenity I already covered....

"The property was fine. It could use a few upgrades though. The sofa bed was very noisy & you could feel the frame through the mattress. We had 6 people only 1 wash rag & 3 towels. I asked the cleaning person in the hallway if we could get more. She didn't seem like she understood English. One elevator went out of service. The other one wasn't working properly. I was skeptical about using it for fear of getting stuck. The people at the front desk were super nice & very helpful."

Otherwise, the place were well-suited for my needs and the location perfect, There was no staff beyond a receptionist, and the library space, although having gorgeous woodwork and natural light, was bare and felt empty and uninviting. However, it is a basement apartment and the sole egress was blocked by what appeared to be some sort of HVAC unit. "This house was perfect. We used uber to downtown Washington DC with no problem. My husband was amazed at the details for amenities. The Qtips, soft towels, great coffee, quality toilet paper, great bed/covers and the best was the tissue by the bed. We would definitely stay there again."
