Spacious Talkeetna home on Ruth Glacier Avenue

Looking for a fully furnished, comfortable house that can sleep 10? This 2-story home has a master bedroom on the main floor with a king bed. On the main floor you will find the kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry closet and a bathroom. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms each with queen beds, two bonus rooms that have two twin beds each and a bathroom servicing them. There is a covered deck that hosts a propane grill, couches, tables and chairs for your outdoor relaxation surrounded by a grass yard. Lots of parking in the driveway. We are located just off the Talkeetna Spur road. We are 4 miles from the Parks Highway Junction and 10 miles from Talkeetna's town site. We are directly across from the bike path that connects the Parks Highway with the Talkeetna townsite.

Very welcoming communication prior to stay and exceptional, clean, comfortable accommodations for our 3-gen family of 9. We enjoyed mornings and evenings on the patio bookending our busy days at touring destinations. Extremely pleased and grateful we could enjoy this home - including the surprising scene that unfolded late one evening as we looked out the window & saw a mamma and a baby mouse!

Great time staying here with 8 of us! Style of the house is interesting on the inside, almost an old school vibe, and the outdoor patio/grill is super relaxing. One of the best spots you'll find for a large group that is close to Denali National Park. Right near downtown Talkeetna as well, which was quaint and cool!

We stayed in this wonderfully equipped, modern home in the center of Alaska's activities. We flew in and out of Anchorage so the stay just a while out was perfect to visit so many interesting sites. April was very friendly and communicative. I highly recommend this property!

This is a very nice property. Super clean and new and very good experience. The only downside of the place is the road that is a block away. You can hear cars drive by every so often but in the evening things quiet down as the cars subside. I would highly recommend this place. April created a very high quality experience and was easy to chat with.

Plenty of Room

This house, though several miles away from Talkeetna, worked well for our family of 8 adults. It was spacious and has a really nice back porch where we ate breakfast every morning. It was nicely stocked and had everything one might need.

This is a beautifully remodeled modern home. A lot of room with a wonderful outdoor seating area. Perfect for a large gathering. April was very easy to work with and quick to respond to guest questions. We were very satisfied.

Great house close to everything

The house was perfect for 9 adults. Everyone had their own space, just note that all the rooms upstairs don't don't have doors - just in case you have someone who snores. The living space was ample and we really enjoyed the patio area.

This home was wonderful in every way. Clean, comfortable and conveniently located. The host has thought of everything. We traveled to Talkeenta and became members of the 30% Club actually seeing Denali in all its glory. Four separate families were able to stay here with no problems.

Very nice house in a great location. We had 10 in our family ranging from 3 yr old and up. Plenty of room, super clean, great yard. Owner was very responsive, we had one small issue which the owner promptly fixed. House exceeded expectations.

Family trip

The house is absolutely beautiful!! We took an Alaskan cruise with our children and then visited Denali National Park and stayed at the home for 2 nights. The house has anything one would need, April has thought of everything. Even had a pizza pan for us to reheat our pizza we had at one of the local restaurants. Make sure you visit the small but cute town of Talkeetna! Highly recommend this home if you are visiting the area....beautiful!

Home Away From Home

This home is clean, comfortable, and in a lovely spot of Talkeetna. There were many items stocked for our convenience and local markets & eateries are just minutes away. Communication with the owner was easy and response was quick. Even in an unexpected power outage, April took the time to make sure we were comfortable and essentials were provided for.

We loved staying at this beautiful home! The minute we walked in, it felt like home. The outside had beautiful flowers around the patio, where we enjoyed our morning coffee and our dinners. The home is well stocked with snacks, coffee(both Keurig and Drip coffee maker). Hot cocoa, tea and spiced apple cider were also provided and enjoyed in the chilly evenings. We wanted a quiet relaxing home and we could not have asked for a better experience. The beds were comfortable and we all slept great!

Great for large families

What an amazing stay!! We walked in and were instantly blown away by the comfy-cozy feel of the place. It was clean, inviting, spacious, and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The location was perfect and although there were other houses near, we felt very tucked away and enjoyed having that kind of privacy. April was super easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, this place is beautifully and thoughtfully put together--from the amenities to the cute Alaska decor, we felt comfortable. It was the cherry on top of an already incredible trip! Look forward to staying here again next time we visit Alaska!!
