The hotel is dealing with some facelift work on the exterior. What I found, though, the hotel is a little bit further of a walk from the restaurants and downtown area than I expected. What I thought was a park to go run in was a cemetery. I would recommend finding a hotel further west than this one. The staff were exceedingly helpful and friendly.

The girl that checked us in was very friendly. We went back and asked her the next day about when the parade was coming thru on Saturday morning so we would know what time we needed to leave in the morning to miss the closed road. She looked it up for us.
We met Tina, the owner, when we were checking out. She offered to help me carry my suitcase! She was very sweet.
The property had been remodeled two years ago and it was really nicely done and very clean.
We enjoyed our two nights there. The neighborhood was quiet, the beds were comfortable. It was a great location.

We were on the backside so we had a nice view of the mountains. The outside of the window could use a good cleaning. Price is reasonable ..."
