"We wanted to go to Puerto Vallarta to see the whales. It definitely exceeded our expectations. I wish I could attach pictures of the whales and dolphins a few feet from the shore. "We were there for a bachelor party - 10 guys in our 30s. The place is in a good location in the hotel zone and had plenty of space with large indoor / outdoor common areas. We had a few issues with being unable to get in touch with someone for check in and mild maintenance and the maid service came in and started cleaning early each morning after we asked to hold off. Not necessarily a bad thing but a little less private than we had imagined. Overall a good stay at a good rate for a large group...
