"Unfortunately, our stay here fell short of expectations. Our room had a persistent odor reminiscent of dirty diapers, and despite our efforts to mask it with air freshener, the smell lingered throughout our visit. We also encountered numerous beetles in the room, even though we kept the windows closed. The included dinner was another disappointment, as the meal lacked flavor and was not up to the standard we had hoped for. Additionally, we faced some stress when trying to ship our luggage—the attendant declined to assist us with filling out the shipping form. Since other hotels had helped us with this in the past, we were unsure whether we completed the form correctly, which added unnecessary worry. On a positive note, the breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of options. We also appreciated the private onsen, which was a great alternative for guests with tattoos who are unable to use the shared baths, (book far in advance to make sure you’ll be able to enjoy). Overall, while there were some enjoyable aspects of our stay, several issues prevented it from being the relaxing experience we had anticipated. "
