"A magical setting—tranquil, relaxing and so beautiful!"

"During my two-week trip to Japan, one of the most memorable experiences was our stay at Hotel Indigo Karuizawa, An IHG Hotel. The experience was excellent, with warm and welcoming staff. The rooms were spotless and more spacious than others we stayed in. While the location wasn’t as central, with having attractions within walking distance, it was conveniently close to the mall and train station via taxi. Although we didn’t get a chance to try the on-site restaurant, the onsen was a standout feature and a key reason we chose this hotel, despite it being the most expensive of our trip. Out of the six hotels we stayed in, this was definitely one of our favorites, and I highly recommend it."

"Friendly and professional check-in staff. Some staff used a translator which worked great. The “onsen” hot springs is the reason why a Dormy Inn is always a good choice. (Usually open from 15:00~10:00 next morning - so anytime at night) Yes rooms are small - on par with most business hotels - but the sauna and hot spring options are worth it. Free ice cream afterwards. (Yoghurt drink in the morning) a bowl of ramen for an evening snack. "
