"Terrible experience, driving deep into nowhere, very narrow half made up road, soi dogs everywhere, group of local men drinking alcohol in the parking area. Not a safe place. Do what we did, and drive away."

"Arrived hot and dirty after long ride. No water in the room. Can't buy a beer in the restaurant or even at the 7-eleven in the adjacent shopping area. Restaurant closes 7:30. If you want a drink you need to buy it at the steakhouse at the other side of the property and bring it in."

"These are basic accommodations but they are priced as such. They were comfortable. They are well located if you are interested in the Wats of Ayutthaya. Staff was friendly. Parking available. "Staying at Athithara Homestay in Ayutthaya was an amazing experience. The place is incredibly peaceful, relaxing, and beautifully designed in traditional Thai style. From the moment I walked into my room, called 'Pasuk Room' in Thai, I was welcomed by a delightful aromatherapy scent that made me feel instantly at ease. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly kind and made me feel like I was visiting family. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, truly a home away from home. And the breakfast—absolutely delicious! I wish I could have eaten more! This homestay gave me the perfect vacation experience, and I would love to return. Highly recommended!"

"Very close to the train station. We walked..piece of cake. We walked the first day for sightseeing, but the heat! The second day, we rented bikes from stores near the train station. The bikes cost 50 to 60 Bahts ($2 to $3) for the entire day; it's so worth it. And in 90 degree heat. Hotel is very organized. It's got character, very clean, neat. Great price. "

"The property is in a safe, quiet area next to the river. Our Garden Room was clean, spacious and with plenty of storage. The staff were very friendly and made sure you wanted for nothing. There was a good variety and plentiful breakfast that was served to you by the river. Transport was easily arranged for wherever you wanted to go, and at a reasonable cost. It was lovely to sit in the well maintained garden for a drink next to the river. Highly recomended."

Amazing Spot Right on the River, Near Train Statio

"I stayed in one of the upstairs, teak rooms with fan and shared bath this time. Exceptional value with a comfortable room and clean, shared facilities. Wonderful raised area along the river to gather with friends and enjoy the views. Convenient to the shuttle boat across to the main town and along a traveler-friendly street near the train station. This has become my go-to accommodation choice in Ayutthaya."

Beautiful unique property with a fantastic host

"This is my second visit to Cattani’s Riverside Home. It’s a unique property, but it’s absolutely stunning and amazing. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Cattani and her staff are amazing. The property is stunning, and each time I have used a tuk tuk to travel around the sights of Ayutthaya, before returning to the tranquil surroundings of Cattani’s riverside home. I tried the Japanese house with riverside balcony this time and I loved it. I’ll be back, I love this place and you will too."
