Not the worst/but cant recommned

Overall we liked our stay but I would not gi back. There were some problems with our room electricity and we had to move from our room to another at 10pm. Which was not pleasant. I wish we got better apology or maybe some little refund/gift for a such a big inconvinience. There was also a lot of drama over breakfast portions which I thought was just silly!

Posizione della struttura eccellente. Fronte mare con vista dall’alto sulle spiagge di Taormina. Eravamo in una quadrupla molto ampia con un bellissimo terrazzo. In generale la struttura non è tenuta benissimo ed il livello di servizio offerto è piuttosto minimal per essere un 4 stelle.

Zum Strand ist es nicht weit und auch zur Seilbahn kann man zu Fuß gehen. Das Personal ist sehr nett und bemüht. In der Nacht hört man die nahe Straße bzw. die Eisenbahn, wenn man ein Zimmer mit Meerblick hat.

We stayed for 10 nights and had a lovely stay. The staff and owner couldn’t have been nicer! We received an upgrade to a sea view room and early Check-in and late check out. The continental breakfast consisted of; eggs, cheese, cold meats, bread, fruit, croissants, yoghurt, cereal, juices and tea and coffee-perfect to start the day. The rooms were clean and spacious with a good powerful shower, and the maid came in daily and replaced all towels. We also had snacks/ drinks round the pool and one evening we ate at the restaurant-the food was excellent :) The hotel is located a short walk from the restaurants and from the cable car, which takes you to Taormina old town for 3EURs each way, running every 15 mins till 1am!! Perfect location and relaxing stay!!

Gute Lage, schöne Terrasse mit Restaurant und Pool und tollen Blick auf Meer und Küste, freundliches Personal, sauberes Zimmer; allerdings nur mit Badewanne ohne Duschhalterung. Der Abfluss war verrostet und der Wannenboden dadurch verfärbt! Hier besteht Renovierungsbedarf!

Pessimo

Camere sporche e antiquate, bagni sporchi, piscina piena di capelli e residui sul fondo, cloro praticamente assente. Il parcheggio effettivamente c'è ma ha posti limitati ed è scomodissimo perche si trova lungo la strada in salita per raggiungere in albergo: capisco che lo stato dei luoghi non con consenta di meglio ma dovrebbero fare presente sul sito che non è detto si trovi posto. Le 4 stelle forse andavano bene 40 anni fa

Altes und heruntergekommenes Hotel und seinen Preis nicht wert. Die Zimmer und vor allem das Bad sind definitiv keine 4 Sterne. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls eine Enttäuschung. Ein Mini-Buffet mit kaum Auswahl. Obwohl angegeben ist, dass Parkplätze inklusive sind, handelt es sich hierbei um lediglich 5 Plätze in der Einfahrt, welche sehr steil am Berg gelegen ist und man gerne zugeparkt wird. Das Personal war hingegen in Ordnung und freundlich. P.S. Direkt vor dem Hotel fährt ein Zug entlang, welcher bis ins Zimmer hinein sehr laut ist.

Il posto e la visuale sono incantevoli. L'hotel però è vecchio e sporco. La colazione misera (pochissimi prodotti e di bassissima qualità). Il personale però e gentile. Mentre la presenza del direttore è ingombrante ed inopportuna. Non è affatto un 4 stelle, meriterebbe al massimo 2 stelle.

La posizione dell'hotel è buona: ha una bellissima visuale sul mare, è poco distante dal centro di Taormina (circa 10 minuti con l'auto). Mentre il parcheggio è molto molto risicato ed angusto: ho dovuto mettere l'auto lungo la strada. La struttura ha delle grosse potenzialità ma va assolutamente svecchiata: infissi e bussole vecchio stile, mure ingiallite, tavolo e racchette da ping pong fatiscenti, etc. Per non parlare della colazione, minimale non vero senso della parola: dei 4 giorni di soggiorno, siamo stati 2 giorni senza Nutella, non ci sono torte ma solo un cornetto. Mentre come frutta uva e anguria quasi scadute, Per non parlare dei succhi e delle bevande calde: la qualità è stata davvero molto bassa. La gestione è dello stile "vecchio stampo" nel senso negativo della parola: si pensa a risparmiare sui servizi, sul personale, sulle attività e sugli alimenti a totale discapito dei clienti dell'hotel. Protocollo anti covid solo su carta! Come premesso, la struttura ha delle grosse potenzialità ma ritengo che dovrebbe cambiare gestore. Soldi spesi malissimi: se riesco chiederò un rimborso parziale.

Une très belle vue sur la mer si vous prenez cette option. Les chambres sont grandes et propores mais assez vieillottes. La terrasse et le mobilier (transats, chaises) sont très usés. Le petit déjeuner moyen.

Very Frustrated with Hotels.com and this hotel

We have not visited this hotel. We were booked to stay there July 5 to 12. Due to covid 19, we could not travel and the hotel was actually fully closed during our scheduled stay. We have been trying to get a full refund for this hotel ever since through Hotels.com with no success. We have had many online chats, emails and a phone call last week and never get any resolve. We are constantly told we will hear back within 72 hours but never hear anything back. We are very frustrated with Hotels.com and this hotel who apparently never responds to their calls. We are not willing to settle for a voucher that is only good for 1 year. There is no guarantee that we can make it to Sicily within the next year from Canada. If we do get a refund, we would consider staying at this hotel in the future should we make it to Sicily.

Muito Bom !!!

Hotel com uma vista fantástica do mar, funcionários cordiais e atenciosos, cafe da manha muito bom !!! O Sr Giovanni comanda tudo com esmero e atenção !!! O estacionamento é limitado mas atende bem considerando a dificuldade local em estacionar.

Good place for a couple night stay

The hotel has very friendly staff. The location is a bit remote, but only a couple of minutes walk from the local services. In case you have a car, be ready for a bit challenging parking...However, very good value for the money!
