"A beautiful hotel with breathtaking views of Taormina and south. The views of Mt Etna are unmatched at any of the larger properties in the area. We loved this place, the people, the food, and the ambiance. Very helpful staff and the shuttle is an amazing convenience when you are going to town or wanting to return to the hotel. "Villa Taormina was outstanding all round! The room was amazing, the staff friendly and attentive, the pool and secret garden were a lovely place to relax and soak in the view of the ocean and Mt Etna. Would highly recommend to anyone."

"The hotel could do with a refresh for a four star hotel. It’s a bit battered around the edges. However, it is clean and the staff were helpful. The buffet breakfast was good."

"Love the location and the view of the balcony rooms. Grounds were excellent and beautiful property. It’s an older hotel with vintage vibe but makes you feel like you are in true Italy. Well maintained and cleaned. Highly recommend."

"Amazing views from our balcony and beautiful pool overlooking the water. Delicious buffet breakfast. Short walk to town and very close to the bus station. Also close to the gondola going down to the beach. A beautiful hotel I would stay here again."

"Hotel Metropole was a perfect location for our stay in Taormina. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and the wait staff were amazing. The hotel room was spacious and clean with amazing views The infinity pool was a great way to relax in between and after our day of touring. We highly recommend staying at Hotel Metropole."

"Great place clean and location was great . Only issue was the noise from the street below was a bit much . People enjoying themselves to 1-2:00 am and then the dragging of chairs and garbage pick up . The doors to the balcony’s should be changed to sound proof this would make the stay more enjoyable as sleeping was hard with all the noise below ."
