"this is a "serviced apartment" type of lodging. the website provided by the premise for "pre-checkin" just returned 404! when we got there we had to talk to aa attendent thru an ipad. he promptly solved all our ussues and we checked in fine. the olace us nice, with full kitchen and even washing machine! too bad we only stayed there for 1 night. given its location (10min walk from the train station) it's a tad on yhe pricy side overall good stay!"

"This was such a charming resort. We felt like it was the adult version of a Disney-style Japanese onsen. The facility was spotless. The staff was remarkably helpful. Almost everyone chose to wear the traditional garb or kimono while walking throughout the property. Our room was stunning! Wish we had a longer stay at Jazankei Yurakusoan."

"The staff were helpful with all of my requests, they understood enough English, so if I got stuck whilst trying to use Japanese they were able to incur my intentions without any real difficulty. A lot of reviews I saw complained expecting that they should know how to speak our language, incorrect. You came to their country, so you either need to learn the language or at least use translator apps. The only real drawback I had was that due to having several large tattoos, I was unable to use the spa areas, however if like me you have large tattoos, there is a very good tattoo-friendly onsen not to far away called Hōheikyō Onsen and they also have a fantastic Indian restaurant inside too."

"What a lovely place! It’s basic but has everything you need - clean, fridge, a safe and kettle & green tea, The bed was so comfortable. On one of the floors, there’s two microwaves and a seating area. I used this and it was very clean. There is a small Onsen and laundry facilities (which I didn’t use). I did use the Onsen facilities in their sister hotel directly opposite - wonderful! Highly recommended."
