"Erm good and bad points. Me and my partner spontaneously wanted to get away for a night and drove the motorbike straight here arriving after 10pm. In the booking details at the time of booking it does not clarify that the hotel DOES NOT allow check in after 10pm. However there was a helpful gentleman on site that luckily helped us check in without any additional charges too! He made us very welcome, explained the security on the main door, WiFi and gave us an out of hours contact number if we needed. This made us feel comfortable for our stay. Tea and coffee making facilities in room - Yes but basic. No lift for the stairs. For the price it’s a bed for the night. Can’t complain about that. Comfy bed and pillows. Very strange bathroom. Toilet seat didn’t stay open properly, carpeted half way through, the shower water was barely warm - the bathroom sink had hotter water in it. In need of a bed to sleep in with water and a toilet. For the price. Wasn’t terrible"

"The hotel is modern and clean. The air con was not working in our room and beung unable to open the windows, the room was very hot. I was unable to ring reception to report the issue becase the phone in the toom was not working either, so I had to use my mobile to ring in externally. The staff offered to try to re set the aircon from reception but this did not work. Half an hour later and after a further phonecall, a member of staff bought a stand alone fan to the room. A very disappointing experience overall given the very high cost of the room for one night and the resultant delay in being able to go to sleep."

Woodbury Park Hotel and Golf Club

"The hotel was situated in a lovely location, and our room had a wonderful view overlooking the golf course. The room itself was clean, and I had no issues with it at all. The pool and sauna were also clean, and I really enjoyed using these facilities. However, breakfast was a major disappointment. The plates and mugs were not properly clean, which was off-putting. The pastries ran out and were not replenished, and there was no fresh fruit available apart from a mixed fruit salad served in a dirty cup. Overall, the hotel has some great features, particularly its location, views, and leisure facilities, but the breakfast experience needs significant improvement."

"Lovely hotel, conveniently located just off the M5, yet very accessible to reach the city centre by bus. Ample parking, which was also reasonably priced. The staff were super helpful giving us directions to get to the bus stop (just across the road) and which numbers we needed to look out for to reach the city centre. Breakfast was lovely, with a huge variety of food. The lift was a bit slow so we ended up using the stairs instead as we were on the first floor. Modern and super clean look. We will definitely stay there again as it was excellent value for money."

"Excellent welcome on arrival. Room was very basic and not very clean- bathroom floor and room carpet dirty and stained. Room very noisy early morning and bed creaked every time we moved! Had we been staying here more than 2 nights and it was literally a place to sleep we would have gone elsewhere!"
