10/10 Excellent
"From the moment we walked into reception we felt valued and treated as if we were a valued customer. Keith checked us in took us to our room explained where everything was including fresh milk in the fridge for your morning coffee or tea in your room and home made cookies, and how to get to the spa and pool. He was also the one we asked about other things to do in the area and he was always happy to help look up or suggest things. I cannot remember when I have had such a warm welcome at reception and really from everyone we interacted with nothing was felt to be a problem. The restaurant staff were lovely and the food local and very high quality. The dinner menu is limited so I do think they should include some specials so there is more variety if you are dinning for more than a few days."

Holiday Inn Norwich by IHG

8/10 Good
"Accessible room. We love the spacious room with a fridge (so useful for some medication). The room was clean and stocked with basic tea, coffee and milk. The bed is a double. We would prefer a king-size but there would be less space around the bed. The mattress was very soft and not supportive. It was awkward, as people with reduced mobility, to sit on the side of the bed...my partner slid off. Also the bedside tables are tiny. More space is needed for medical equipment used at night plus a socket on each side of the bed is necessary. This is obviously specific to our medical needs and generally the room and stay was excellent. The food was also fantastic. The continental breakfast was great and dinner was very good. Staff were so lovely and helpful. The only thing missing was sliced lemon (or similar) to go in the G&T!"

"It was disappointing that the spa is advertised to close at 8pm but guests are asked quite rudely to leave at 7:35. That doesn’t really leave any time after check in to use the facilities especially since dinner also ends at 8"

"The staff were friendly and helpful without being effusive. The room was clean and spacious although there was a distinct lack of power plugs in useful places. Breakfast was good and served promptly, as was dinner. The menu was more limited than in other places but the quality was excellent. The ambience and furnishings in the building were interesting."

The Links Country Park Hotel

The Links Country Park Hotel

8/10 Good
"The staff were pleasant and helpful. However I must comment on your room description on the Expedia site, which stated that a double room was 323 sq ft. The room we were allocated was smaller at just over 200 sq.ft. There was no safe, as advertised on your room description and also, due to the room size the access to the wardrobe was restricted due to the dressing table partially being in the way. Generally speaking, we enjoyed our stay despite the room restrictions."
